This is a great find. I'll have to check out those cds. Say, can you throw up a few choice selections from the CD, if you have time or desire. Slap Rap, soda pap!!!
Acting Thinking Feeling.... what genius can come up with as 'groovy' a piece of music as this? Monty Stark, thats who. If coolness was handed out, this man would have a ship full. Complete dude and magic track. Cheers Monty

Does anyone else feel guilty for skipping through half of this song? I appreciate the musical tension created in the first part, but this song just rocks way harder after the fourth minute.
Totally! This is such beautiful music, it's ashamed there aren't more modern artists that are crafting music like this for our generation (early 20's).
@Sagefrakrobatik wtf is rap reviews? i grew up defendin rap music my whole life and now I can finally agree... rap is crap hip hop is the craft. dont want to hear sheeet about rap reviews. This is a great band full of great musicians.
this clip is from 1968. John Abercrombie replaced all the horns, (except Carl Atkins), in 1969, and then in 1970 for the Carmichael TV project, all the horns were gone, and Stark Reality was a quartet: Monty Stark, vibes; John Abercrombie, guitar; Phil Morrison, bass; Vinnie Johnson, drums.
They kno how to capture emotion... something 'artists' can't seem to do anymore...
