UGA thinks that by their making it harder to get accepted and making the minimum SAT to be c.1200-1300, & the GPA to be a min. of 3.0 that somehow "descending from the heavens" all of a sudden puts them on the same academic plane as Tech, LOL
The academic milieu at Tech blows uga away. End of story. UGA "upped" their admission standards to try & keep less serious studets out, plus taper off the drop out rate. In add'n, to try & make a hearty attempt to put them on an image of Tech, UVA or UNC
UGA has one of the highest drop-out rates in the state. Their sports teams are nothing but thugs which will end up in jail or kicked out of school. And no shortage of beer drinking rednecks.......

Bottom line is, Tech still has more National Championships than UGA in football. Tech blows away UGA on an academic standpoint; there's no comparison. Let them whine all they want.

ummmmmm im not a fan of either team but i would like to point out that the last time georgia won a national title was 1980. and the last time Georgia tech won a national title was 1990 so im not sure i would go down that route if i was a Georgia fan
