  • What type of red paint did you use for this? I'd be interested in using it as well.

  • @jedimasterham2 Hey bro. I used Citadel Blood Red ^^!

  • what would you think about running a very fine sandpaper (2000 grit maybe) just softly over the general body?

  • @Dragon4eva I would say 2000 grit is very fine. more for buffing paint work. Although working your way up diffrent grades such as 1000, 1200 etc. would give very clean results. :) This kit is no where near what I can do now. Hope you catch my sazabi when its finished ^^!

  • Wow, that's actually really cool

  • @WallCrawler1610 THanks bro! :D

  • What's The Song Name ?

  • @exilefreedom102009 Unlimited Sky by Tommy Heavenly6

  • Reminds me theres a battle scarred blue frame that needs finishing in my closet somewhere.

  • good thing kamm that you had good experience dealing in hobbylink. mine was HORRIBLE.. very bad customer service. damage box/item, poor coordination.. very disappointing ><

  • @macne04 Im sorry to hear about ur experience bro.

  • what is the song in the video?

  • @Majitsu @TheEpicCake71 Unlimited Sky by Tommy Heavenly6

  • @MrErick2008 Emailed you bro :) didnt know you wanted this one too!

  • can you tell me what brand of paint you used to color this kit ?

  • @onelasttitan I use Citadel Acrylic paints mate :) available at Games Workshop. Hope thats helps!

  • @kamniks thanks, unfortunately the hobby shop near me only carry testors enamel paint :D

  • You hand paint better then I spray....

  • @gunplanut wow thanks for the kind words bro! ^^!

  • @kamniks No problem, you do nice work. I hand paint my tanks and can sometimes see the brush strokes, even after thinning it down. I'm still trying to figure the right paint to thinner (water) ratio.

  • Dude your vids are helping me so much that my g-3 is almost done so far I made all the battle marks but I have to dry brush the whole kit, so thanks dude thanks

  • @setsuna388 hehe thanks a lot bro!... IM glad your G-3 is nearly done. Make sure to pm me when its finished ! I want to see it ^^! Thanks again bro

  • @kamniks sure thing

  • man thats one damn fine gundam

  • @bankai1981 Why thank you! :)

  • @kamniks your welcome but one question what is that thing sticking out from the sheild

  • @bankai1981 was soppoed to be a dagger that somone stuck into it ^^! doesnt look great though :(

  • @kamniks it looks goodish i just didnt know what it was lol and now i know and knowing is half the battel

  • @bankai1981 hehe thanks bro. first time trying somthing like that. Def learnt my lesson on improving it now too ^^ thanks

  • @kamniks thats the only way to learn :)

  • I can't get over the detail it's amazing great work 5/5

  • @setsuna388 Thanks a lot man! Much appreciated <3

  • I think it fair to say that thats f*cking amazing. I really love the head by the way, great slash

  • @EsenxGundam Thanks a lot man. Thanks for commenting! ^^

  • @kamniks Yeah that slash on the head is awesome lol.

  • @trinityzaku Thanks mate, tried to think outside the box alittle ! ^^

  • The weathering seems a bit uneven on the lower legs; the shins don't have enough scuffing on it to match the knees. The off-centre decal on the back also really gets under my skit. Other than these minor gripes, though, this is absolutely fantastic all around. Another a great work from Kamm!

  • @CitrusJuicebox Your the only one to notice that decal ;) good job citrus. I too was disapointed with it. Damn dry transfers! Also imagine the modelling kneeling and diving. Then imagine the shins hitting the floor. Not that your wrong, I do believe I should have weather the model a touch more, but tried to keep the damage relevant to its actions ^^ thanks for commenting.

  • @CitrusJuicebox i dont think actual battle damage (as im sure is is supposta be showing) is gonna be even! lol the pilot isn't gonna try and make sure the damage looks right! so i don't think that the criticism you gave him on that was valid...

  • @ithollywood32 Yeah, you're probably right. Panels can get replaced and stuff, too, so there's that.

  • your model is really great but the music is cringe-inducing.

  • @ghostdein1 Thanks for the comment!, what music would you have preferred ^^ ?

  • Like everyone said, it's so hard to believe it's hand painted!!! You have an airbrush, you should use that. Seeing how your hand painting is, you're probably awesome with an airbrush too! :D

  • @Gomenchaiii haha I hate airbrushing.. even priming my models angers me! I enjoy hand painting it relaxes me. Even if it takes twice as many coats. Gotta enjoy the hobby right?

  • @kamniks That's the first I heard!!!! I LOVE airbrushing. I like how the color slowly changes hehehe (I hate doing whites though because it's hard to tell), and it dries so fast! The only annoying part is cleaning, and when it clogs, I have take it apart for deep cleaning, and also the fumes. What paint to thinner ratio do you normally use for hand painting?

  • @Gomenchaiii I guess because england is so cold, my garage is always subzero! Erm I thin by EYE lol which is terrible. Maybe somthing like 3 - 1 paint to thinner. Once i get the look of the paint i want i stop adding water ^^ guess its just wat im used to doing.

  • @kamniks I do it by eye too but mainly 3:2 for me. I still get annoying brush marks and white gives me heartache. Lol

  • Outstanding work Kamm. Great weathering and some incredible hand painting.

  • @GundamAustralia Thanks Sonar. Much much appreciated :D

  • if anyone dislikes this video they are dicks

  • @darkwolf21100 hahahaha love it. Thanks for the support man ^^

  • Its awesome! Greatest paintjob and mod i ever see!!!

  • Great jobits just amazing the things u can do with a brush

  • @albertoxFTW haha thanks man, just far too much time on my hands I guess ^^ Thanks for commenting Alberto.

  • Awesome paint job on this one!

Nice use of the HLJ colours, and a really cool scheme you made with them. It really suits the cool design of the Mk. II IMO.

The battle damage gets my thumbs up as well.

You have my utmost respect for being a brush painter!

  • @AriesTheUmpteenth Thanks Aries! Much appreciatd. Im finding that the colour scheme is diving people ^^ I tried my best to encorporate the HLJ colours. Thanks for the kind words!

  • I really dont see how you get it so smooth by brushing. Thats awesome. I love the scar on face and bullet holes.

Its pretty intimidating and here we are doing kits together. We are going to change the world, hahahehe. Very good work.

  • @jumpingspoon02 I use cheats! haha lots and lots of layers homie. Everyone loves the scar, im glad I could pull it off. We care going to change the very fabric of existance with our FAZZ collab bro. Thanks for the feedback Jamie

  • Great work Kamm, love the battle damage and paint scheme, I'm sure HLJ will be more that happy with this fantastic custom MK II.

  • @tc012009 Appreciate it TC. I hope they like it too. Overall im not that happy with it.... what would usually take me 2 months took me 1. I soppose the pressure got to me as im so inexperienced. "doh!" Thanks again!

  • WOW! Definitely amazing but how did you figure this is their color scheme?

  • @josiebeara hehe thanks man. I made a mock plan in photoshop for the idea. At the moment some people like it, some people hate it ^^! I guess we shall see what HLJ have to say. Thanks for commenting

  • You never cease to amaze me Kamm, wonderful BD work! Definitely HLJ colored!!! What do you print on for your custom water-slides? Only CC I got is a nice flat top coat would hide those decal edges, other than that this is fantastic!!! Love the destroyed leg thruster armor reveling the inner frame and HLJ will looooooove it too or they are crazy! Also what are those things on the head?... Radio transmitter?

  • @GundamGuns GG! ^^ I use clear inkjet water slide paper (il pm you a link. Cant seem to link in this comment!) I completely agree with you on the Decal an top coat. Im still learning to get the decals to sit how I want them (didnt want to use this model as an experiment) :P Thanks for the great feedback and the head thing is a transmitter lol yeh! :D
