magnum beats brute shot because MAGNUM BEATS EVERYTHING! not the most skilled magnum user ive ever seen, but still better than 99.9% of the population (which means that you actually CAN get kills with the most difficult to use weapon in the game) nice video 5/5. also check out my vids. i have some that involve the magnum

Only take the magnum if you're gonna dual wield or there is no BR to pick up.

BR does 6 damage (18 total damage each burst but only assuming you are close enough for all the rounds to hit)

The pistol does 15 damage per bullet and dual-wielded takes 3 Double hits + 1 single hit to kill someone, which is faster than the BR's 4 shot kill (no miss) and 5+ Shot Kill at long range when part of the burst goes stray

Single wielded, it is a 5 shot kill and still an excellent cleanup weapon.

I still think the BR is better. It is a strategic weapon like the magnum except it has a 3 round burst and a scope for longer ranges. Overall, the BR is the best non-power weapon to keep with you.

I like to used the grunt birthday party skull and take a magnum around on crows next, confetti basically covers the floor.

in team slayer if i havent gotten to other weapons, i use the magnum when the opponent outranges my assault rifle. its really rewarding if you use it with precision timing and skill.
