  • Only just first heard of this group on another video, and already I love them!

  • How does one play guitar with gloves?

  • wow I love this rendition. Love from Nova Scotia herself. Ciad Mile Failte!

  • now I'm really homesick, I need to get back there to get all this great celtic music, thanks from an expat Nova Scotian

  • Rising Gael will always be one of my favorite artists. They're so much fun to just talk to as well.

  • A VERY interesting rendition ... I like it very much ... great job ... thank you!

  • this is just fantastic.

  • very cool to see an outside group doing a song from our local tradations

  • Awesome songs. If you like this type of music you should listen to a group called Empty Hats

  • the lead singer has a man, he is in the band! he rents out a room at my house

  • If I was a woman, those are exactly the jackets I would wear on a windy day in an open field. Great music and great video clip. Cheers

  • this is what I hate about ns. (assuming this is where it's shot) Where the hell are they? Everything's so dead and barren 8 months of the year...

  • @alicesqueeks What part of Nova Scotia were you to? I'm from The Annapolis Valley and we have long seasons full of bright colours (compared to Edmonton AB, where I'm living now), I find when I go home everything looks so green and alive.

  • @netando I live in Dartmouth. I love the Annapolis Valley! It's gorgeous, especially during summer. I hate it here, because it's not big enough to be a real city, but bleak anyway most of the time. It feels like we have to suffer for so long just for a few weeks of the gorgeous weather.

  • I just downloaded this mp3 at mp3iffy. Check that site out - its sick. Google mp3iffy

  • Nothing wrong with reinterpreting this song. Good for them to try. Still I prefer the original melody. It's ancient and refined, adapted for the original folk song. It's pretty tough to come up with something new and pop/country that matches a tune that's been massaged by masters for hundreds of years to perfection. STILL, no harm for trying. It's very sweet.

  • wonderful job. they took a traditional song and made it their own. I would like to see them do Fhear A Bhata

  • the original version carries the haunting melody that embodies the tune, this does not, it is a countrified hick version compared to the original

  • @MissAlbaNuadh then don't listen. Simple as that. Keep your negative comments to yourself.

  • wow ilike viking metal but an this touched my heart jajajaja XD

  • Lovely! Truly Talented!

  • -wishs people would use the orginal beat of the song and not fuck it up- =/
