@spyoung777 hi, we forgive you. no worries. we are into art, music, poetry, stories both fiction and non-fiction. songs mean different things to each of us. that is the beauty of them. they transcend barriers. we would never "define or narrow down meanings into a box." we don't really fall into the recent century evangelical utilitarian style of christianity, wherein music and art or only valid if a church can use them to build an audience. we are more interested in ancient/future christianity

I just bought the downloadable version of it, and now I am listening to an even better quality "live" version of of "Oceana," complete with those shimmering guitars that make it so much more beautiful. Also, I can hardly wait now for the TRIPLE album coming out soon -- it looks/sounds fantastic, judging from the previews!!
This has always been one of my favorite songs by The Violet Burning, and this version of it is simply BEAUTIFUL. That extra shimmering guitar and melody; it's simply gorgeous. The blue tones of the video compliment the song perfectly. Thank you for posting this, I've never seen or heard a more perfect version of this song...
OK, forgive me but who or what is Oceana? And who is Mary that you speak of - Jesus' mom?
