It's kind of upsetting to see that people are reacting to Mars like this. I saw them last week and they were phenomenal. I know that everyone is allowed their own opinions but the change of nature in Jared when he realised that the girls were actually being mean to him was actually quite sad. He tries his best, and he's not always on top form. But can you blame him? 2 years straight of touring, I don't think you'd be the happiest person either.

I've been in a lot of concerts, from Pantera to My Chemical Romance, from Yngwie Malmsteen to 30 Seconds To Mars and certainly 30STM are not the best musicians around but it's the energy these guys put on their concerts, and the fact that they're not afraid of changing music style what's make me echelon. I'm old school and I've loved everything they have released. The day I don't like their music, I won't tell Leto I didn't like the gig, I just won't be there.

While I don't agree with their approach, tone and the words they chose (perhaps a language barrier) I do think they have some valid points. A lot of people do have issues with the gigs nowadays, the band CAN do much better. Setlist, gig length, too much talking, not enough singing, no s/t etc. Valid points. Though better to bring them constructively than just throwing it out like that. I do think the band doesn't want to hear it though & that is truly sad.

If I had the opportunity to meet Jared Leto, I would definitely not complain about how much the show sucked, because they didn't play the song that I want. And it breaks my heart to see his face after you said that. He was being so nice, and he was in a really good mood, and you just took advantage of that.
