Once again: it looks like we did indeed evolve from a small mammal - probably very much like the one shown - but it does NOT mean that little skull belongs to our direct ancestor. It could easily be a side branch that went extinct with no successors. Unless we can extract the DNA, we will never know. Stop saying "this is it!" ;-)
