I can understand preference.. But can any noboarders explain to me what exactly it is you like about this, that makes it worth doing over snowboarding?
Obviously I have never done it, I would like to try.. But I can't understand what would make it better then bindings? It just looks harder.
@Whiran it really is a different feeling, for anyone that has been in the binders for a long time it just changes it up. A new challenge and trust me the feeling is all time. its definately not a gimmick. If you try it in Sorel caribous with snowboard liners it works even better.
I grew up with greg in Montreal (Beaconsfield) and heard about it a couple of years ago from my brother. can't remember if it was an avalanche or an accident snowboarding. He died doing what he loved. god bless him, he was such a great guy. he is definetly missed. RIP GREG!
definately sick, i just read an article in transworld about these guys...now they're collaborating with burton. i think burton is even making a board to go with the noboarding pad better than a reg board. RIP greg todds, great idea u had
Who cares a'boot better tech? These guys are having their own fun which is the best kind similar to when you really were a kid and could play with a rock for hours...
uh...maybe,on the right track but I think there is better technology out there to quench our euphoric thirst. I'd like to try it in a resort where the snow is usually packed and the sales are pretty healthy. Reality may let this go by unnoticed, even if Jake makes an appearance for it.

No bindings but still the ol'darn helicopters uh ?
Just kiddin' .... ;-) It must be awesome to try it but you gotta have a lot of powder in your area and that's unfortunately not the case everywhere.
Keep on riding !

its kind of funny that jake burton invented bindings effectively killing snurfing, and 40 years later his company buys noboard

i don't like the idea of a no bindings. it seems unecesary. i think that they hae tried way to hard to be original.
