@Sirius13jhp haha me to and the worst thing was we had company over and i got to that part and i burst into tears and ran out of the room. My mom had to tell the lady that i was reading harry potter and when i came back out, she said i need serious help. I laughed and told her to read it and she would do the same. She wouldnt though it was great. I still cry on that part :D tehe
except that he can't really act emotions very well...the directors of the last few films have been very wise in limiting the amount radcliffe and watson have to do emotionally, and for good reason. id rather them not do something from the books than do it badly.
I've gotta say I tottally hate the way this movie ends. I've gotten the impression that they didn't know the right scenes to work out and in the end we have a few scenes that are unnecessarily long and another ones, like this one, extremelly short.
I can't even start to say just how dissapointed I am.... and I was looking foward to see how well Daniel would express Harry's anger....
There we go!!! I thought i was the only one who thought the scenes were too choppy, n for god's sake it's the longest book made into the shortest movie?! that makes no sense....
Seriously I got so mad when this scene wasn't at all like in the book! I had been looking forward to see how Daniel would do in the "I DON*T WANT TO BE HUMAN" scene... And they all Harry and Dumbledore do is having a little chat..
i don't think so,because in Clémence poésy's website they didn't put that she will be in the hbp,so maybe there will not be fleur and bill's scene. :-(
Right, I can understand about Bill and Fleur's wedding being shrunk down a bit for the movie (although you couldn't take it out completely - Harry, Ron and Hermione are warned at it that the ministry as fallen) but to get rid of Fenrir Greyback? Seriously, what the hell?!! They can't! If they did that then how are Harry, Ron and Hermione going to get caught and brought to the Malfoy Mansion? I really hope they don't ruin the 7th book as it really was my favourite of them all. ):
If u noticed in OOTP, the scenes were cut very short, i think they may do that in Hallows...seeing that its a very long and complex story, but they didnt have to make OOTP so short tho!
@gallagherii seems to me at least in my opinion their on the right track adding as many scenes as possible since its the last probably why part 1 was longer than the rest usually hoping the same for part two
and actually guys this wasnt the shortest movie, i believe goblet of fire was shortest. and also film makers realized that if theres a really long movie, not as many people will see it cuz they dont wanna sit for 3 hrs in a theater. like i know we would see it cuz we're fans, but no one else would want to. i get what your saying and all but im just pointing out a couple of things. and plus longest book... that would be a REALLY long movie. i mean deathly hallows might even be split in 2
It's such an emotional scene, no matter short or how pointless. Dumbledore's voice is so sympathetic and sad sounding...this scene makes me want to cry. I was SOO ticked whenever they didn't have Harry throw all of Dumbledore's silver things. When I realized they didn't have that scene in there, I was like, "No. They need to have that scene in there. It's like the second most emotional scene second to Harry's deathwalk in Deathly Hallows."
this movie is so disappointing... most of the important scenes were out.. like "snape's worst memory"... It was so freakin' short!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and no lily!!!!!
and get this:
the longest book in the series was the shortest movie of all the potter movies..
this is the scene where voldemort took over harry's body and left all of the sudden when the ministry came right? right before dumbledore told harry his "story"
i mean, yeah it was good and all, but c'mon, those of us who read the book were probably REALLY looking forward to the scene when Harry throws a tantrum, right?
i swear, on my way to the movie theaters, i was freaking out to my friends about how freaking sweet that part was going to be
this would've worked and what scene came after it, there should be more to this shouldn't there....becuz there is barely any scenes of harry standing there with just dumbledore talking.
NOOOOOO ! Why leave out the part that makes you practically cry? My gosh. Michael played DD really well toward the end of OotP. I never thought he'd grasp DD after Richard, but in this movie he was a lot better. :) Especially in the scene w/ him & Harry in the office talking. :) that was touching. =]
I'm glad they didn't try and tackle the DD/Harry office scene too much. I LOVE that part in the book. Harry's passion and pain and DD's sorrow and regret radiate off of the pages. I'm happy that part will always remain untarnished in my mind.
i wish they could save the cinematography, sadness and drama of this moment for the 7th movie when Harry is in Dumbledore's office right after... stuff and before he finds out... well. you know. everything.
they cut so much good stuff... :( it wouldn't have made the movie much longer.
They should have put that in. D':

Why did they cut this, it's great! The Gryffindor Sword and Sorting Hat are great and there's absolutely no reason for them taking this scene out.

Yeah, this movie was so short n the scenes went by like flashes that im surprised that there are deleted scenes..

Well that's what some people have said on previous comments. Fingers crossed that they're just rumours though. (:
DottyRibbons 3 years ago
He's in the teaser trailer. And Arthur Weasley gets attacked by him instead of Bill. I don't think they cut him.
Anyway, I really wish they would have kept this scene in and Harry had his temper tantrum.
0westernpleasure0 3 years ago
The teaser trailer is for the sixth movie, not the seventh. But hopefully if they put him in the 6th that they'll keep him in the seventh. (:

my favourite book is ootp.
and i thought my film is goign to be awful.

they should've kept the qubbler interview and some small things, eg puttign levicorpus in and the REAL reason cho + harry broke up.
but the film impressed me very much so.
