  • For the handle, instead of having to adjust it by screws when adjusting for hieght;a quicker easier way might be to use a fastening clamp used on tubular scaffolding. This clamp attaches a horizonal tube to a vertical tube.

  • looks great, one cuestion realy works?

  • @masterplomo1 in sand and clay, yes.

  • Hi great teacher! The comment left with the handle advice was good as well. Could you tell me please... Do you suppose this would work in ground that is quite stony?

  • @brendahodgins Thanks! I'm sorry, it will not work in stony ground.

  • I love the pencil sharpener...

  • I was in your website and watch all your videos .. I have no world to express my gratitude to you. I wish more People here can have the capability that you have to explain how thinks are/work/etc the way you do. (Easy, practical, clear and using common sense) Thank you.... thank you very much. (your Website is in my Favorites Place).

  • Now that's how a Man sharpens a pencil! Nice work Sir!

  • @johnnykATL Ha!

  • Thanks! I've tried something similar to that but had problems but it is too slow to adjust in use. If the muffler clamps are properly sized then it is hard to get them over the coupler when you add a new stick of PVC. We need a clamp that is easy to tighten and loosen and when you loosen it, it gets bigger in circumference to go around the larger coupler piece.

  • Part 2 of 2 @dawmlw

Cut two pieces of 1-1/2 PVC pipe and drive them over the aluminum angle iron, make the aluminum angle iron and PVC pipe whatever length you want for handles on each side. Fast and easy to adjust as needed without slipping, dam box only lets you put 500 caracter with spaces, so dumb

  • Part 1 of 2 @dawmlw do not use hose clamp on your handle, use 21/4" muffler clamp with 3/8 rubber fuel line over the U-bolt and on the clamp seat split 5/16" fuel line length wise and slip over and glue with contact cement, the edges of the 2 ribs of the muffler base bracket, this way it holds tight on the PVC pipe. Then drill two hole though a peace of 1/-1/4” aluminum angle iron, (for you U-bolts to go though)

  • lol thank you

  • You purt near lost your knuckles at 2:07 ... be careful with the saw ... :)

  • What a wit and a sense of humor to boot. Love the series bro! PEACE!

  • Why do you need the weep hole?

  • @ProfKSE Without the weep hole, air compresses in the top of the drillhead and will eventually blow it off. In addition to messing up the drilling, it is scary!

  • YOU ARE A GREAT...TEACHER VERY DETAILED THANKS ALOT FOR THE PART NUMBERS AS WELL AND THANKS FOR TAKING TIME TO MAKE THIS VIDEO THE BEST VIDEO ON YOUTUBE OR MARKET ON DRILLING YOUR OWN WELL MUCH APPRECIATED.

  • @cindibrat561 I'm glad you liked it!

  • Dawmlw - You DIDN'T make a video on how to make and install the handle for the drill. If you could make a video, that would be great. Thanks for everything so far. : )

  • @jacknj777 I'm not real crazy about the handle I designed and built. That is why I have not posted a video on how to make it. This one requires regular replacement of the big hose clamps. If I come up with one I have more confidence in over the long term, I will post it.

  • Thanks, 1TruPatriot. Every guy who has ever had a physical will understand...

  • lol Dr. dawmlw "Ahh your first time hey" That cracked me up!! Excellcent videos! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
