De la Rosa is fighting with the steering wheel too ... Arrows signal that was not a very balanced car. Note that he moves with the steering wheel too, a sign of uncontrolled aerodynamic car ...
But it was too cool for this time around the Barcelona circuit.
Even though I am Spanish and were supposed to praise the Barcelona track, truth is quite, quite far away... A crap of a track with one of the worst overtaking curricula or carriers... If I ever go to a F1 race, I prefer other circuits like Spa, Monaco, Montreal or Abu Dhabi...
And also, I prefer de la Rosa much better than Alonso (I´m so bored with Fernando... mainly because of certain race-commentator...)
@AlanMartinNala I agree to an extent. The FIA ruined Catalunya with that chicane. What an awesome corner it used to be :(
I hardly saw any overtaking in this year's race either. Hamilton only passed Vettel cos Vettel made a mistake. Also, I wouldn't class Abu Dhabi as an elite track, it's almost impossible to overtake there, too. Best 5 tracks IMO;
@ruckaisawesome356 With or without that -absurd- chicane, statistics have it that in its 19 years of GP, the Catalonian track has proven to be unfit for overtakings, and its rate of overtakings is worryingly low (among the worst of all tracks). As Barrichello once said, "you can be burning tyres lap after lap but get no overtaking at all", or Eddie Irvine: "I wish I had my stereo discman with me during the race..." Even Alonso himself considers this track boring!
No 2000 they had Supertech and 2001 they got the Asiatech engines which where based on the old Peugeot Engines from 2000(Minardi had those in 2002).Asiatech planned to develop that engine trough so they could start their own F1 team in 2004 orsomething but in 2003 no one wanted their engines anymore so the project got cancelled.
the arrows sucked here that year because the car was based on top speed. If I remember right, this car was faster than shit at hockenheim and monza that year too
Mmmmm... De la Rosa qualified 9th here, although he was dropped to last because of a minor problem with the fuel, a mistake from the fuel supplier I think.
He would only qualify better than 9th at Hockenheim that year, IIRC, so you can't really say that the Arrows sucked at Barcelona.
hope he's help HRT to move forward

Pedro had a terrific year with Arrows in 2000. Alas his car was too unreliable.
Definite podium was lost in Austria and some more valuable points.

Pedro was outstanding in 2000, I can't believe he only scored 2 points, it should have been about 15 points.

Supertec was the old renault by Mechacrome engine bought by flavio briatore and relabeled to Supertec.

@sanukoriju Think by 2000 Arrows had Asiatech engines , which may have been another incarnatino of the supertec/mechachrome engine
