the car was from 1974 ; it was bought from old "gendarmerie " cars and has been repaired and reconditionned by a mecanics ( garagiste) who has changed a lot of parts including front and maybe all plastic parts
so i think you can easily adapt new front to old cars .....
i 've sold this car two days after making this litle movie.....it was for me a way to keep a souvenir

Very good video! The Mehari is my dream car. The front looks like it's from a 1978 or later mehari. Does it fit on the older model from 1974?
