  • @MindStateProdNorway

    Oh yeah!

    You tell it

  • I meant to say I do love all races. Gathering leaves you need to take a chill pill. I am going to look you up and leave you a positive comment. Maybe you need JESUS!!!!

  • @pandamadness1

Also, there are white people with features just like hers, so she does look mixed

  • I meant hate black people. We bleed, live, and die the same. Get a life Gatherleaves. Go gather some leaves for crying out loud!

  • Gatheringleaves: you should be ashamed of yourself. This girl looks light skinned. It is so bad to be African-American (Gatheringleaves). I have cousins that are lighter than her, but my comment to her was positive. Who are you to come back and tell me to call her mulatto or mixed. Are you crazy. I would like to know why you have black people. I don't love all races. Silverh34rt seems sweet and kind. So why do you send some negative email about how mixed she looks. Who cares. Drama!

  • @pandamadness1

First of all she doesnt just look light skinned, and it doesnt matter if you have cousins that are lighter than her, they are also mixed, there are very few natural light skinned unmixed africans, therefore she looks mixed, her features are mixed and her skin tone is very light, which also makes her look mixed

  • I received this message from gatheringleaves

What the hell are you talking about, she is obviously mixed, and doesnt just look like a light skinned African American woman, her features are not predominantly African although her hair and skin tone make her look alittle more black but if she had fair skin and straight hair she would definitely look more mixed. As a matter of fact there is a video of her where she does have fair skin and straight hair and she definitely looks mixed there.

  • you are verey attractive and well spoken.

  • To be honest you look like a light skinned African-American woman. It is hard to see that your mixed. Just embrace yourself as a woman of color with white and black heritage.

  • I second that motion! I mean that youre pretty!

  • Hi, It's refreshing to see a quieter American. I do like Americans I just wondered why the were all so confident ! lol ps u r pretty x

  • oh my Gawd I love Afro Celtic music and I"m Black. lol I have Black friends who have lots of diverse music, but I can't say the same thing for my white friends. They only listen to music by whites.

  • You're very speciall

  • You are hilarious! Love this vid ad your hair looks great!

  • Yes, lovely. . .there are some stereotypes for our type but we don't want to repeat em. Better without em. Very nice vid. I like your "covert" approach, looks like a library environment. That would surely constitute quiet. I don't know much about Celtic music but I do like some New Age, Enya's approach to be exact. Beautiful stuff. Anyway, take real good care of yourself. Hope you're beautiful til you're 80. After that, who knows?! :)

  • This was highly entertaining...thanks for sharing this! :-)

  • i think you are sooooo CUTE!!!! you did great

  • Why do you call yourself a mulatto?

Listening or liking African Celtic music dont make you African American it only says that you like Afro Celtic music- and just a FYI stereotypes of an entire race is dumb and stupid! Anyone who boxes human beings into a catagory can't be too bright or maybe really uninformed.

  • i don't call myself "mulatto." i call myself "mixed" or "biracial."

and the afro-celtic reference at the end was my attempt at a joke. i'm sorry you didn't get it.

  • Thanks for the response - by the way - you did a great job on your first vid - please keep doing them - I would deff like to hear more from you.

    Peace!

  • Its nice to hear you chatting away, your "Valentine" video is one of my favourite videos on Youtube, so its wonderful to hear the person behind the video!

    Anthony

  • at last...you know the truth.

    ;-)

  • And a fabulous truth it is! So although I very much look forward to your vLogs, the question is, have I sucked up enough to convince you to make more videos like Valentine?!! hehe

  • you're pretty

  • thank you!

    :)

  • Your getting used to it Honey!!

  • Your hands down the most beautiful women I have ever seen! Thank you answering the questionaire!

  • thank you so much! my goodness!

i appreciate you for taking the time to listen to me. :)

  • good post , ur beautiful! hmmmmm, afro celtic?

  • thank you! yes...check out afro celtic music. it's pretty amazing.

  • yes, i do--although not totally. it's a mix, like me. i used to straighten it because i had no idea what to do with it otherwise.

  • You have your dad's hair too.

  • You are funny girl.

  • thank you! :D

  • Why are we whispering again...? ^_^ lol.

    Good video,u r beautifull.

  • because i didn't want people to think i was talking to myself.

and thank you very much. :)

  • wow! thank you very much. :)

  • Beautiful and extremely creepy.

  • awesome!

  • You are very strange and extremely creepy!

  • excellent. my plan is working.

  • your so funny! Love the vid!!

  • wow, thanks!

  • Hi again! You asked about Afro-Celtic music. Strangely enough, my mom is a really great fan; she's been to a few concerts here in the UK. I haven't really listened to a lot of it but I might see what's on YouTube. Thanks for reminding me about it.

  • you're very welcome! it really is cool music.

  • You seem like a big smart ass! funny though! :P

  • thank you? :)

  • I'm mulatto too just in case you were wondering! Thats me in my BG.

  • You must be getting a bit tired of my comments, but I'd just like to say what a strange experience I've had watching your videos over the last day or so. I started watching this one because I'm a subscriber of tiffdjones. But then I watched some others and I was mesmerized and put in a trance by them because you seem to look like different people - in the "Silence" video you look black and in the "Fooled!" video you look white, and, in this one, biracial. I hope you don't mind me saying this.

  • i don't mind at all. it's one of the things i like most about being biracial--the idea that i can blend in to different settings. thank you very much, and i hope you enjoyed the other videos!

and nooo. i don't get tired of anyone's comments (unless it's a bunch of spam or unnecessary hurtful words, of course).

    :)

  • Great video good job and its great you are not in the I'm black/white thing as I believe it should be as most white people in this country are mix also french english etc

  • thanks. :)

and you're right. most of us are mixed, whether we like that idea or not. so that makes all the division seem pretty ridiculous, doesn't it?

  • I agree with both of your comments. I'm hoping that in 50 years time people will look back and wonder why people spent so much time talking about such a silly think as skin pigmentation. Human beings are 99.9% the same as each other, we're 96% the same DNA as chimpanzees, and 50% the same DNA as bananas.

  • I think it's a fact that men always tend to be slightly darker than women, even in white people.

  • interesting theory. i'll have to research that.

  • Mixes often times make the most goregous people and Aja, you are very much one of them.

I'm glad your proud of what makes you who you are. A great bunch of people are a mix of something.

    Great job!

  • my goodness, thank you so much! :D:D

  • 1. I think you're video just hypnotized me.

    5/5!

    Very interesting.

  • *YOUR.

    I'm a spelling freakazoid.

  • you will now bark like a chicken.

  • Hey Silverh34rt! Awesome video! You are so funny and at the same time honest and insightful! I hope you make more videos! Were you raised in MI? I was :) I think I tan like your brother, not to rub it in or anything. I've had a couple of sunburns in my lifetime too. I think it's SO great that the mixed identity has always been instilled in you. I'm glad that i know that i'm black and am more than comfortable with it, but it would be so great to be equally comfy with the biracial i.d.

  • pt 2.) i'm working on that tho:)

I can't imagine looking at you and seeing only "black" features. it makes me wonder about those who do. what's your take on it? are they usually black or white people? Do people ever tell you that you don't look like your mom? People tell me that I don't look like my dad, but i know that i do and that they just canNOT see past the color thing. Thank you SO much for doing this :)

  • thanks, tiffany! :)

no, i was raised in chicago but i have such close ties to MI that i could say i sort of grew up there.

(i figured you tan well. your skin has that look to it. not fair!)

for the most part, it's black people who see the black features. when my hair was relaxed, a lot of white people saw me as white/mostly white or latina. all of this was during high school, though.

i'm natural now, so it's a bit different. a majority of comments i get are that i look puerto-rican.

  • i think my black friends identified so much with those from their culture that it didn't matter what other features i might have. they just saw me as a sista. :)

it's always been cool to hear other points of view. it certainly has made my life interesting.

  • i can never respond in just one reply. gah!

actually, i've only had a few people tell me i look like either parent...just because i'm not often seen with my parents. not for any particular reason--my mom works nights, so she's asleep all day, and my dad works from home. but most of the comments i've gotten say i look exactly like my dad. only one has told me i look like my mom. so i guess that might be similar to you and your dad and the whole color thing.

  • good job!

  • thank you!! :)
