My impression for this guitar, from all the videos i've seen on youtube is that its muddy and dirty...not the case in 10% of the videos where the guitar sounds excellent, solid, not that bassy...But how this guitar actually sounds in real? Can you get the good tone out of it if you dont have a valve amp, using transistor-solid amp? Can you make it sound good if you have a good experience in setting amps? I cant find this guitar in my town and check her out and see how she really actually sounds.
@orfmor I have a Standard, it sounds a bit muddy because it's a Les Paul, that's what Les Paul's sound like. The clean sounds are super clean though I have to admit. You can get some real heavy sounds though if you turn up the bass on your amp.
@orfmor When you turn the volume and tone to 10 on the guitar on the bridge pickup on a clean setting, the sound is super clean, sometimes very crystalline too. This guitar has NO distortion on clean modes whatsoever. The guitar will shine best through different amps but no matter what, the cleans are normally fantastic.
@orfmor it's not a problem man =) I try not to show favoritism to any guitar I own but I definitely think this worth the money. Of course, you will only know from your own opinion.
hey mate...well the ''big speaker'' is called cab or cabinet and it is a real powerful speaker..it enhances the loudness and clearness of the head's sound..the head is the ''small amp on top of it''...it is an amp like the others but needs a cab to function, cause it has no speakers...hope i helped ya:)
@DReidGuitars correct me if im wrong but i hear the best sound from a les paul comes out of a high end fender amp. My guitar teacher has a '73 Gibson Les Paul and he says that it is the best sound hes heard out of any guitar and hes been playing for years idk im just wondering if its true
@AssassinsCreed515 different amps have different tones and sounds. some people like me use one amp for cleans, like a fender deville 2x12 and an amp for dirty tones or for overdrive, distortions and fuzz pedals to be played through, like me. it all depends on what you want. go to ur nearest guitar store and test out some amps. remember it's YOUR tone and sound YOUR TONE YOUR SEARCHING FOR, not your teachers. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
@AssassinsCreed515 OH, GUITAR!!! .i thought you were talking about amps!!!!!! the same principles i said before about amps basically, leave out the effect pedals part. but if u really want a good tone, buy a used prs se. you didnt hear it from me -_-.................anyways, go to ur nearest guitar shop and test out guitars there, just because your teacher has a les paul doesnt mean u have to get one
@DReidGuitars no no no i realize i just want one caz i think they r freaking cool but i was asking about amps i was talking about the les paul running through a fender amp is that true do u kno
@AssassinsCreed515 well your talking to a guy that uses fenders for cleans. i dont know how it handles distortion. the best thing to do is to go to your nearest guitar center and try it out

@JEUXolim Mhm, and do you hear minimal distortion on clean mode when using the bridge pickup with volume and tone max-ed to 10?
