Too right you are. Poor dear is worn beyond belief. It doesn't matter how brilliant someone is, you can't go non-stop as he has and not feel the effects. It was a truly magnificent performance, though, and think it actually translated with HE really well. I hope he gets plenty of rest before starting out again.

Yup...I'm old enough to remember what Freddie Mercury did to his voice in only a few years. Not that he wasn't GREAT for many more, but he definitely did some damage. I'd like to see Mika avoid that. Ackkkkkk....another FM comparison ?!?!? Well, I'm a huge fan of Freddie's, will be for life, and I'm becoming a fan of Mika's. The scope of talent is similar, although I think too much is made of their supposed similarities.

Absolutely. Mica has done an amazing job of maintaining his voice thus far but one can only do so much if they insist on touring non-stop. I hope he is well taken care of by himself and his loved ones.

haha Making comparisons is impossible to avoid but that is life and human nature. So long as you know that they are different, that they each have their own personality, strengths and weaknesses you need not fear doing it too much. =]

I suddenly woke up and watched the credits on LICM, it says that the backgroundvocals for Happy Ending are sung by Mika and Ida Falk Winland. She is a soprano, born in 1982, this could be her, but I don't know that for sure.
