I hate the new channel design. It covers most of your background, it doesn't display your friends, it's plain,etc. Couldn't they at least continue to give us the option of choosing between the old and the new layout?

I did totally agree with this like ever since they announced it, but a week ago, I got thinking...Hey! - once you put up a background that isn't black. add some text in there. make a featured tab, and ...it looks pretty cool actually, but yes, i will miss the old layout, but I'm not quitting youtube, like i was going to a while back

I also LIKE the smaller channels for their interesting & unusual povs & vids. I hate stuff like Raymond William Johnson's boring, narcissistic blab & if I wanted to watch that kind of shit then I'd watch TV instead. I've sent my opinion of the new channel layout to YT, as I guess so many others have too, but who knows if they'll take any notice of us all or not. Nobody who I know likes these new changes & it's not just the usual reaction against change. People have good reasons for not liking it

I hate the new channel & some of my friends (not contacts) are even going to close their channels because of it. I hate the depersonalisation of the new channel. I hate the way that I can't find my subs on it. I hate the way that I can't see my channel comments easily & I hate the way that I can't see what other channels are about when they send me "contact suggestions" unless I type in the channel name & look at their videos on it. It reminds me of Facebook, which I loathe.

I gave you a thumbs up on this one, man! I can't stand the new channel layout. I am using the classic layout for now; Hopefully YouTube comes to their senses. It's the user-generated content that people come here for, If they play favorites with the big, corporate-owned channels, it will be the death-knell for YouTube; Nobody will want to watch infomercials and company propaganda. As for TV and movies; That's what HULU and Netflix are for! YouTube is discarding that which makes it so popular!
