All the Red Barns closed sometime in 1986. years ago there was one in Painesville (but has since now closed) and in Warren (now a sit down restaurant).

They had great chicken too. I lived in Niles, Ohio..they had a Red Barn on the Strip by the Eastwood Mall!! Good stuff!

Wow - what a blast from the past! The Red Barn in Peterborough, Ontario was turned into a Vet's office around 1979 (torn down since). There are two still Red Barns standing in Ottawa Ontario - one a disused car dealership and the other a Chinese restaurant.

Most former Red Barn outlets in my city still have their barn shape.

Our old Red Barn in the west Detroit area, (Wayne,Michigan actually, a suburb) has been a party store for years. You know, one of those ones where the middle eastern guys says, "How are you buddy, what can I do for you buddy, tank you buddy!" Yes, I said tank and not thank LOL.

We had a Red Barn resturant here in bradford pa. It's now called The Family Farm resturant.

The last Red Barn building in London, Ontario, Canada was finally torn down about a month ago. It ended its life as a Fresh Pasta Restaurant.

The one near me,ended in 86;now it's A gas station.I miss Red Barn,they had excellent food.

Red Barn ceased to exist by the late 80's in San Jose, Ca.

The one I knew is now a Chinese Restaurant, but the "barn"-shaped building still remains.

I grew up in Hamburg,NY and the Red Barn was right down the street from our high school. We spent a lot of time there skipping class and smoking cigarettes.  Last time I went back the Red Barn is now a hair salon. :-(
