I've seen Gary Karr live in concert too, in Hong Kong, in the 1980s. He sometimes acts like a clown to make the audience laugh. But he is such a maestro!
@TheMikester307 It actually is Koussevitzky's bass! It was given to him by Koussevitzky's widow, after hearing Karr perform this piece. It's a beautiful story and a beautiful performance

I've seen Carr live in concert! That is probably Koussevitzky's Bass he's playing. it was given (or loaned )to him!
