Great Book!

I have an autistic son who has fragile X. Horses are his big escape. You'd never know he had any issues when you see him riding. When he approaches a horse -- ANY horse, no matter what the termperament, my son seems to be able to connect. Trully amazing. Not sure if I totally believe in this horse mysticism, but I know what I see.

"Healing" is not the same as "curing." Rowan's primary dysfuncitons at the time of his adventure were "healed.' The autism remains; just clearer to define now. His language and learning are clearer now and he is now "available for learning." Congratulations to Rowan!!!

If it's not horses, it's gluten free, then it's swimming with dolphins, people, will U please get educated? The real stories of autism will surprise you because you are being given false faces of real autism in the media

Once again, did Gupta or anyone do a background check on this case? Did you examine initial and subsequent medical diagnosis? Were there underlying conditions? Ie..mental illness...selective mutism, hyperlexia, etc...that was causing this child to stay silent? There are other causes of this aside from autism. Stop using the word autism to sell stories that aren't even represening real autism. It's just insane.

@kgaccount No, it looked like real autism. I agree with you that the term is overused way too much but in this kids case, it was the real deal.

@kgaccount You really need to look deeper into this stuff... There are people with a gluten intolerance, like me, while animals do have a therapeutic effect on people suffering from all sorts of mental disorders. Parents ARE on on it.
