When I was in 8th grade we watched this in my French class. Silly how I remember little moments like that, but it was a good movie. This is also a great contribution to the B Flat project
Are you guys fucking dumb? Heh. Jebus. A guy cuts up "The Red Balloon" and mixes it with some ambient audio and you come up with some bullshit about ecology?
It's important, sure, but not here.
Good work, sir. Great contribution to the B-Flat project.
I like the music, but having just found a grey fox and countless sea (and other) turtles choked to death on balloons - I'd rather see people enter the new millenium and stop balloon releases. Yeah, it sounds piddly but really - its a serious detriment to wildlife. Buck up. Stop releasing balloons. Same as trash burning. Yuck.
I'll make sure to let the directors of "The Red Balloon" know -- just as soon as I can get a time machine to take me back to 1956. No actual balloons were released in the editing of this video, I repeat, no actual balloons were released..
Of course (I read the notice about the film) and wasn't suggesting you had released them, instead was noting this nonsense still happens (all the time) and drawing attention to it.
Right on, then! I agree 100%. Still surprised people can't find a more ecologically sound way to celebrate birthdays, etc. than purchasing loads of balloons -- and when they release them in fits of ridiculous jubilation, well, seems thoughtless, indeed (to say the least).
You are really silly....and very unpolitte "travesty "? you are such a troll and also you havent seen that short film when you were a kid? what kind of people surrounds you that didnt showed you this?
@nikita888 blow a dick nikita. Your humor blows . Learn? Learn what grammar? " what kind of people surrounds you that didnt showed you this? " Shutup!
I could see how it looks like Prague, actually -- it definitely gives off that feel. All the footage is from "The Red Balloon," I just shuffled the clips around a bit [and thus all the footage is from Paris].
I used to throw balloons out of my windows and watch them fly away. Sometimes someone would catch one.... it was fun :)

yea if you don't think about how every single thing you do affects the ecology then you aren't a real human
