A little information I found from Alan Wake:

1) The director is from Finland, Sami Järvi AKA Sam Lake

2) Petri Alanko is a Finnish composer, respect for him

3) Some of this games landscape was taken straight from Finland, a beautiful country :D

4) Finland rules :P

If you don't know where Finland is, it's right next to Russia

1)same lake wrote the song late goodbye based on his poem,

2)he wrote and directed the max payne games,

3) the composer did the soundtrack to both max payne games

3) so was the actors for the game and the youtube mini series bright falls,

4) finland is amazing like poland, they make great games

@peterman0777 Some corrections(albeit your comment is kinda old): Petri Alanko didn't compose soundtrack for the Max Paynes (acording to wikipedia), the actors for the Bright Falls were North American with the exeption of Alan Wake as he was played by a Finnish guy (same as game). All the voice actors in the game were North American. Lastly Poets of the Fall wrote Late Goodbye from Sam Lake's poem, the same as "War". Finlad rules with 30cm of snow outside right now ;)
