Yes, this was very sad. But ShadowBlade79 and christentze, are you serious? Let's put this in perspective. Shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Wire, and The Good Wife are high quality. DC was cute but overwrought and overwritten, elevated occasionally by Michelle Williams, who was always too good for this show. The fact that the show made melodramatic easy choices is shown by the fact that they killed Jen, punishing her for being a bad girl as they did for the ENTIRE SHOW.

Oh boy this is the saddest death in the history of any tv show. When grams says "ill see you soon child" damn it killed me seriously! I miss dawsons creek, mainly because of jen she was the best character. it was such a great show. and im happy audrey wasnt in the final episode it couldnt of ended more perfectly. Audrey never fitted in but ive seen the extended episode of the finale where andies scene is still in it and to have her bacck made this perfect.

I love this part of the episode, with jack and jen. even though jack was gay that was jen soulmate and jen was jack soulmate. and the scence when jen dies... she looks soo beautiful and when the grandmother kisses her and says i will be seeing you soon... it was beautiful.. The writers did a phenomenal job. This is the first, and only episode i've ever watched of this show, so I had to peace together the story by myself. I figured out each character through this episode, I saw what they felt, and could easily relate to them. I felt like I was there, like I was a part of their group of friends. After watching, and connecting for what feels like as long as they've known each other, I started to cry, with Jen's Grandmother, on the last lines of the show.

This is especially because I think that's how many fans felt about Jen in the first season.

All of the characters (Joey, Dawson, Pacey, Andie, Dawson's parents, even Gramms) all had scandal. In a sorta Breakfast club fashion, all of them were Jen, were what Jen described of herself one way or another.
