I have a hard time maintaining my braidout longer than two days. In your regimen video (yes, I'm following you like a hawk now!!) you said that you minimize manipulation. Is doing a braidout every two days too much manipulation??

Well I don't think braid outs are low manipulation for me b/c I have to re-braid every night. Some ppl are able to maintain their braidouts for days. I don't think re-braiding every 2 days is too much manipulation. As long as you're not seeing a lot of breakage you're fine.

i wish my braidouts came out this cute. i'm almost a year post relaxer, so when i try, the natural part has so much body, and is so thick and defined, while the relaxed hair just hangs there, so it looks stupid.

Lovely, but you must advise what type of relaxer you use, how often you touch up, trim, and how long it took you to get from shoulder length to this length.

haha!!! i love your accent! reminds me of my mom! especially when you said you were thinking about calling off, you said it just like she did :) brings back memories.

also from my experience, the best way to maintain a braid out is to re-braid every nite. i can sometimes get away with just putting it in a scarf at nite, but very rarely (i sleep crazy so that could be why)

Nope, on dry hair. I just braided up my dry hair after moisturizing and sealing and un-braided in the AM.
