HE GOT THAT IDEA FROM ANOTHER SHORT FILM. THE OTHER SHORT FILM IS HIS DAD DIES AND HIS SON DIES. HE FINDS A WATCH FROM HIS DADS WILL. HE FIXES THE TIME ON BIG BEN AND THE BIG BEN CHANGES ITS TIME TO THAT TIME. HE REALIZES THAT ITS A TIME-WARPING WATCH SO HE GOES BACK IN TIME TO TRY TO SAVE HIS SON BUT IT WAS TOO LATE. HE HAD AN IDEA TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK IN TIME TO HIS CHILDHOOD. THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE FILM, THERE IS A MARKING ON THE BACK THAT HE dint know. it said, you cant change the past.

He fast rewinded the watch so it was when he was taking a shower in the morning.

Then, he rewinded it again to earlier when he was in bed.

Then he rewinded time back to when he was a child.

Basically, he wanted to be a child again :)
