:) Thats the Organ at Bayard Sharp Hall. I love that little thing! I do agree with Dr. Herman. The 2' and Mixture would be more in the style of Bach and that period...but who cares! You play it the way you seem fit! I currently study Harpsichord with Mrs. Flint at U of D so perhaps we will run into each other.
Thanks. Have always loved this piece. And always got accused of playing it much too fast; well it was the only way for me to unfold it's magic. And who really knows how Bach would have liked it performed originally?!
i know what u mean. i ususally play it at this speed. and even my organ teacher says its too fast. but it is noted in the original transcrpits buy the guy that he wanted it that fast, so eh.
An extremely interesting choice of registration!!! When I've played this, I never would have thought to use reedy stops. I love it!!! I'm going to go and try it right now!
Great sound and registration! i am playing it in 15 may on a Schools concert, so it helped me. thanks for posting!

not bad, but Bach supposed to be played portato, you need to play more separate.

zdecydowanie najpiękniejsze preludium z małych. Preferuję w szybszym tempie ale nieźle.

Beautiful. I prefer the Schweitzer edition and that's what I usually play it from. Your tempo and all are very good, anyway.

Yeah, my professor thought i should have put some 2' and mixtures on, but i thought the heavy sound was really neat.
