That is not right. Where did you get that from? Anyway, the computers that serverd as the "wheels" back then were not powerful enough to rapidly spin through the categories in real time. What they did was to start by sending the categories spinning as fast as they could and then switching to graphics that were intentionally blurred before switching back to the sliding images as the wheels came to a stop. The fact that the blurred image contains a money slide is irrelevent in the category format.
The description is WAY wrong about the quality!

Yeah, that was the new Round 1 threshold under this format. Under the dollar format, it was $500.

No, I mean in the front game, the new threshold in Round 1 is $1,000. In the dollar format, it was $500.
