I used to see this band @ the Starwood club, in LA, CA. (1980 w/Randy R.). >Kevin D. had a band before that called "DuBrow", and Carlos was in a Band before Q.R., called "Stormer", he's now ( today) in the regrouped "RATT" touring with Warren DeMartini, and S.Perry. Carlos is playing Robin Crosbys guitar parts/lead duels.

I agree, Frankie is great for the band and I love his style of playing for this kind of music! Neil Peart (learn how the fuck to spell), is a totaly different kind of drummer and nobody could ever take his place in Rush! Dickhead. As far as groove goes, neither one of them are even close to masters. I guess you've never stepped out of the box and heard guy's like Jeff Porcaro or Vinnie Colliuta? Evidently not. I briefly met Calos and Rudy at a place called te Chance in Poughkeepsie NY in the very early 80's. Both were class acts.

Carlos had HUGE shoes to fill and I think did a great job. Randy Rhoads was "it" at the time and deserved to be. RIP. I think people resented Carlos as "trying to replace" Randy. Im not sure he ever got the credit he deserved as a musician. Carlos was an awesome guitar player.
