Actualy vtec opens regardless of the amount of throttle as long as the required rpm is hit WHILE MOVING. Vtec does not engage when in neutral/at a stop.

you can't hit vtec at idle.....LOL what is the car going to do? vtec engages to release the power you already have. it's just limited until you're driving at a certain RPM...you don't have to be WOT...how can you not know about your own car?

Love the car but.... I'm about 95% sure Vtec hits only when the computer deems it ok, sitting in neutral in your driveway is not one of those times.

@patgrm vtec engages past 5000rpm when shifting gears standing still wont serve no purpose for vtec therefore it dont engage i belive most new honda vtecks are computer limited to 5000rpm limit in park idling for this very reason

Lol My friend has this jeep freaking lifted like "6 inches with some big ass tires and a cherry bomb and all the time when we would meet up at the school parking lot he'd rev the sheit out of it. @SN1P3R321 i have the exact smae setup on mine the tsudo (invidia rip off) invidia test pipe and headers, you know where i can find silencers for the exhaust? it's loud as balls.
