@JeansForLife -- that's a Flexdex Fat Daddy, used to be called the Pro60. Just a great shape and good birch, the flex is awesome and under-appreciated.
@12scratch12 Thanks bud! I have the Radikal Talons, 147mm, 56 degrees wedge up front, 42 in back, 85mm SpeedVents, Abec 11 bushings. Radikals are like Paris/Randall trucks but with spherical bearings in pivot and bushing seat. They are magical, but unfortunately, they ain't cheap.
@GrooveWorshipper Would that mean if i am looking at a cheaper Randal/ Paris, I should go for 150mm and not 180mm? I am trying to use 70mm (~50mm wide) Wheels on Fat Daddy?
@getnani sorry for the late reply on this...you can set it up with normal reverse kingpin trucks, but it won't flow as effortlessly as if there are spherical bearings in the trucks. The sphericals allow you to run really loose while holding everything in place; if you run normal Randall/Paris type trucks that loose it gets sloppy with some kingpin/hanger clash or binding and generally less responsive. On a budget you could try Bennett in front and Randall in back
@DanielFrankLee The shoes are Vibram Fivefingers, and they are very close to being barefoot, yet with protection.
I'm sure you can pump a Grenade, pretty much all boards can be pumped though some easier than others and setup makes a huge diffefence. The Grenade is tiny, so it would feel completely different than a long WB board. Check out pavedwave website to learn more about pumping setups. This is the funnest board I've ever pumped.
@GrooveWorshipper How much do you weigh? I am in the market for a 60" longboard, but I am afraid I will weigh to much much for it that it will flex and hit the ground. I am currently 230 pounds.
180 cm´s of death :D
