Why on earth have you joined your line/leadcore with a clip 07.48 and not spliced it on, your fishing with an inline and if you snap off that lead is unable to slide off the leadcore, and its gonna be towed about putting a hooked fish in danger. All the gear and no idea.
@mrmarc32 The hooklink is only 15lb braid so if i was to get a fish snagged in the weed or any snag the hooklink would break first still leaving me with the lead and lead core, as i proved a few days ago getting caught in a tree. The mainline braid is 30lb so the first think to go would be the hooklink, however i can see where your coming from if i was to have a 30lb braid rig on. With regards to the lead core and the clip it works out easier to change my rig if needed. Fair comment though
@CarpAdventures hi, with regard to rigs its incorrect to think its automatically going to be lowest br/st part of the rig thats going to give. If your mainline was cut off on a snag, muscle bed etc the lead is unable to slide off the leadcore hence the fish is the greater danger not just dragging 6ft leadcore but also a weight. I understand what your saying but fish safety always comes b4 us loosing abit of tackle. Go on you youtube and look how to splice leadcore its easy enuf. Tight lines.
hi mate, just went to watch part2 and its says its been blocked by EMI coz its got content by them in it, shame was looking forward to part2. :-( might have to re edit it without the EMI content!!??
