As much as I love the trio this ending would have made a lot more sense and would have made me less self-conscious about still being into Pokemon. In other words, the original series would have gotten the respected ending it deserved.

@Redgohan147 I would like to see how Ash's journey will eventually end, but he is the star. Kinda hard to write him out completely. On the other hand, I'd also love to see the Pokemon journeys of the other protagonists you mentioned. The closest we got to that was the Chronicles "Legend of Thunder" with Jimmy (Ethan) and Marina. It's a shame we only saw that one adventure.

Nintendo is an enterprise, first and foremost, and we all know that Pokémon is a major moneymaker for the company. It's going to end as long as it keeps being profitable. You know, like the Simpsons? And Pokémon isn't exactly Starfox, or Tomb Raider, neither has it been through half the ordeals those two have in the past few years. In short, just don't worry about it. ;)

If the child with them is, just a bit of conjecture from me, Ash and Misty's daughter, the blue-haired woman could be Misty's mom. I saw this in Japan when I was a kid. It mind fucked me then and it still mind fucks me now...Am I alone on this!? I can understand what the characters are saying and the music itself but it doesn't really seem to answer anything for me. I read somewhere that it was supposed to be the future and ending to the Pokemon Kanto series but I don't even know if that is true. But damn! The music nostalgia just hit me hard here lol! Pokemon needs to be brought back to the days of its origins: When characters were not one dimensional.
Most importantly is, it NEEDS Misty back. The best part of the series was the ship tease between her and Ash.
Further, her Tsundere qualities really struck a balance to Ash's "Idiot Hero" stance.

@TheJoeOriginal The animators probably just reused the design for an entirely new character, rather than just create an entirely new one for a minor character. If the child with them is, just a bit of conjecture from me, Ash and Misty's daughter, the blue-haired woman could be Misty's mom. One of her sisters also has blue hair, and another of her sisters has pink hair, which could explain how the little girl has pink hair as well. Just conjecture on my part. I want to see the original movie!

i've got it. misty is the father figure of the relationship and the lady from the port is like the mother, like fate and nanoha for vivio, except less awesome. brock maried the nurse joy that went missing and ash ran away with james. jesse probably fell in love with ash's father, giovanni, and professor oak maried ash's mother.

I saw this in Japan when I was a kid. It mind fucked me then and it still mind fucks me now...Am I alone on this!? I can understand what the characters are saying and the music itself but it doesn't really seem to answer anything for me. I read somewhere that it was supposed to be the future and ending to the Pokemon Kanto series but I don't even know if that is true. But damn! The music nostalgia just hit me hard here lol! My childhood memories just started comming back from this XD

@KazeKiriStudios pokemon creators themselves said that this was supposed to be the ending of the kanto series,I think it's clear even for someone who don't understand japanese, like me,that it means that this girl,whatever she's misty's daughter or not,wants to grow up and become a trainer and Misty wants to return back a kid and travel with ash and pokemon again :D.

I wish the new seasons were about some other trainer. I'm sick of pikachu & ash. He is now very annoying, and it's so predictable how he always manages to grab the three starter pokemon who he wont force to evolve or they choose not to evolve because the show is all about how babies, or the underdogs have an advantage bc they r cute or are on the side of good....I would have rather watch a second season about Gary. Dawn is annoying aswell. I hate dancing pokemon! 1st season was about battle.

@TheEscapedBalloon That's what they always do,in trailers minor characters appears as main characters,if you remember,the trailers of the 13th movie,the cheering purple-haired girl appears as a one of the main characters,there was even and interview with her voice actress,and it turns out to be a very minor useless character that appeared about 40~50 sec in the whole move,the same goes to the shiny beasts,who have no role at ALL,and all previous movies....

Iris picks on Ash more than misty. How can she call him a kid when she's is? Like Misty, is it a crush? Is Ash a commodity? Has she met Brock? The green haired gym leader is pretty cool, but why is there no white in his eyes??bothers me. I hope this season wont go down the drain. loosing interest

@Natsukashii3 first catching the three starters s not a bad thing,he did the same in kanto and johto,for your information team rocked had stopped chasing pikachu now,they have other things to do,but it appears that they will do this again until giovanni reappear,Iris is just kidding,ash told her befor that she is a kid to,that's because of her wild nature,and in the lest episode in us Ash replying the same way she did,cilan eyes,actually some ppl in real world have a not clear bright eyes.

Or have Team rocket involved in the plot a different way. Most episodes have the same formula with team rocket poping in for a fight, toward the end ......they need to mix it up! I want this season to be better. Some of the manga are pretty cool (visually aswell) I wish the show was more like them.
