  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Now this is what mixing and scratching & beat making are about!

  • IF YOUVE BEEN DOING THIS SHIT SINCE THE 80'S, YOU WOULD REALIZE HOW EAZY IT IS TO DO THIS! WHEN THERE ARE 4 MUTHAFUCKAZ DOIN ONE TURNTABLE SHIT!!!!THERES MORE MIXING IN HERE THAN ANY BEAT JUGGLIN OR SCRATCHIN!! BUT IT DOES SOUND GOOD FOR A CHANGE! ALOT OF YOU CYBER JOCKEYS TALK LIKE EVERY SINGLE FUCKIN THING YOU SEE ON HERE IS EXTRODINARY! BUT IT NOT!! WHEN THE DJ TEAMS STARTED IN THE DMC BACK IN 92, MAJORITY OF THE CATS MIXED AND DIDNT DO ALL THAT QBERT CLONER SHIT!!

  • @ozulu45

well its not that what there doing is amazing, its the arrangement and how every sits perfectly together.

thanks for the 411 though. you can sleep easy now ozulu.

  • Simply AMAZING! This would have been awesome if the people from back then heard this =)

  • ..shoulda brought tissues.

  • This is amazing !

  • I don't get this.

  • birdy nam nam didn't invent team scratching.... your f*ckin' high....

  • wow

  • that was badass! And it wasn't sloppy at all

  • i think DJs is the most musicians in the world, and i think they know all the musik that ever been made, ;D

  • yesterday night i play in contest with my crew (desolandia express)...it was all about creativity and feelings on stage. c2c is our standard. they play very good music, simple to play but in perfect structure.technically they are great but in this type of routine isn't important...i'm really waiting theire album!!!!

  • Lidt for bondepolka agtigt til min smag dj turkman souljah er måske også lidt for klassisk i hans 2003 optræden...

  • What's the name of the first song? :)

  • If you guys like this you should check out Birdy Nam Nam they basically invented this. You should check out mad props to these guys though fo sho.

  • @TheSmedley56

C2C did not invent this, they did made it more musical though, the first turntalist team were Q-Bert, Mix Master Mike, and DJ Apollo. i think back in '92

  • Very creative :)

  • thats very smart how they set up their sets

    3 sets

  • rulleggianoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Wow

  • ke forte !!!!

  • This is SICK!! =) Awesomeness in everything!

  • That was brand new..freshtastic

  • legit

  • Can someone post a tracklist?

Or just the name of the main track 0:50

  • @Ibanezium Tout le monde veut devenir un cat - josé germain (aristochats soundtrack)

  • Do they use crowd sounds and whistle sound effects at DMCs or is that just the Brits doing their thing? It is so ubiquitous at every single final. I think they add them to make the drops seem more fly than they are.

Sounds like awesome indie video game music!

  • Daaamn.

They are all so sick Just amazing !!!

  • I can't figure out why people would downvote this comment. It's an observation (a correct one) about the sound, not a criticism. Again, the left channel appears to be. mixed from a line and the right channel is from a single mic.

  • Beautiful ^^

  • Sincronisation =D

  • crackinnnn

  • so unreal pushing creativity to the absolute highest point right here so sick hip hop will never die

  • And people say DJs aren't musicians!

  • yea no kidding... id like to see people who say that match this performance.

  • hey stupid they aren't or did u see fucken notes playing on this shit?

  • Aside from your poor writing ability, you don't seem to know what a musician is. Work on that.

  • I speak fucking 8 languages so shut up!

  • a si? y que maditas lenguas hablas imbesil?

assim que caga idiomas voce fala estupido?

quindi cosa merda lingue che si parlano stupido?

Ne te serais tu pas servis de google traduction?!

    Did you use google translate?

  • @LittleEmoDancer thats because some people don't know wtf we do!

  • @LittleEmoDancer

Those people have to refer to a different breed of DJ's......because im' quaite shure that beethoven lisen's this guyz in heaven....

Loads of humble respects from Romania....and if someone is'ny impressed....just try to play with a turntable....it's massevley expensive...and hugeley difficult ;)

  • way to put custom vinyl to work;)

  • awesome o_O!!

  • Loooove tha ending maine!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:50 is fucking awesome!

  • LOS PUTOS AAAAAAAAAAAAAMOS

  • iF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SCRATCH OR BEAT JUGGLE THEN YOU PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE AMOUNT OF DIFFICULTY THAT IT TAKES TO DO WHAT THEY'RE DOING. COMPARING THIS TO SOULJA FAG AND BEING DEROGATORY TO SOMETHING THAT YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND IS REALLY REVEALING THE ROOT STUPIDITY OF SOME OF THE COMMENTS. FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE PRACTICED FOR HOURS ON END DEVELOPING THE SKILL OF TURNTABLISM GET IT. TO ALL OTHERS WHO ARE DEVOID OF THE ABILITY TO RELATE EAT SHIT AND LIVE.

  • @rage969 Cool caps, bro.

  • @rage969 Exactley!

  • fat

  • dope shit.

  • dope

  • How to turn Jazz/Blues into Hip Hop!

    Awesome!

  • secondo me usano il serato scratch

  • no man they just use custom records

  • Almost looks too good to be true but after watching this a few times You can see they have one deck rolling as the pace-maker and the records they use to scratch

    with have the traditional sticker-markers.

When I first saw it I was sure they were just loading samples from a computer with something like Serrato Scratch.

Either way, a heck of a lot of work goes into their performances and they are extremely impressive.

These guys are the popstars of the dmc world. (If not the elite)

  • Oh yes!

  • Respect !!!

  • Superb talent

  • birdy nam nam!!!!!! :D french connection!

  • THESE B-BOYS ARE ILL!! They get mad props from me for using Tito Puentes, Sergio Mendes and the like in their mixes.

  • yeah yeah its cool...

except they are not b-boys =S

  • could anyone tell the name of the first song please?

  • 20syl does alot of the production for C2C it's probably down to a large amount of his input, he seems to produce alot of jazz based music.

    Check his work out.

  • thank you!

  • the first song is "minor swing" frome french band named "Belleruche"

  • genius!!

  • wow thats crazy

  • Mucho estilo se derrocha por aqui....

    Marvelous [:D]

  • perfect

  • i enjoyed watching that...

  • very nice

  • wonderfullllll :-)

  • ohh xD crazy

  • жгут ребята )

  • that shit is rediculous!!!!!!!

  • the name of the first song?

  • bem louko

  • Shits crazy

  • wow that was sick. great choice of tracks 2

  • It may not be some super showy, ultra-technical piece, but god damn does this sound good, and that's what's important IMO.

  • Damn, that's what I'd expect to hear from a team of DJ's

    I love the old groove

  • vaina pa buena

  • como se llama el nombre de la cancion numero 1 y 3

  • jajajaja niceeee

  • Um, UrbanCrunk should be paying attention to whose YouTube is signed in before making comments. OK babe!?! I found it really funny when JustKidd said that UrbanCrunk (who is a a DJ who does scratch) knows nothing about what he actually does. I bet no one here knows that he scratches those little 45s too, who does that? I bet you dont know many ppl who do.

  • what to say about this?unbealiavable

  • lol i like great for parties

  • every1 says they're vinyl

  • i meant custom

  • thats so damm....good

  • I noticed that black record in the middle is not touched the whole time, if you analyze what you are seeing a little further you realize what they are doing is not that complex or difficult.

  • You don't know what you're talking about, so please don't criticise.

  • Yes I do. I have the DVD of this as well and I've watched it many times.

  • But apparantly you don't know anything about DJ'ing and scratching... This must be awfully hard to do!

  • I do know quite a bit about both actually. Their scratching skills are very high but as far as the 'layout' of the performance I've seen much more difficult feats by people like Kid Koala and DJ Numark. Peace

  • Okay they actually do touch the black one, when they loop the blues piece. And it may not be the most complex thing technically, but the fact that it sounds so good and they synch something that perfectly makes this a grade A routine. You just want to criticize for the sake of sounding smart.

  • No that isn't why I criticize, I just don't think it's 'unbelievable'. It looks and sounds amazing but from a technical standpoint if you pay close attention it isn't as complex as one might think.

  • Allright i will give you that one. If this were a solo piece, it would not be as cool. I just like the originality in music choice. It sounds really cool too. Sorry to come across harsh, i just hate it when DJ's lose sight of what sounds good in pursuit of something technically difficult.

Anyways new question: Why didn't Qbert win the 1991 DMC? His performance was AMAZING. It's one of my favorite qbert routines. Has anyone seen it?

  • because dj david was there. thats all you need to know.

  • Because that goof dj david did a handspin.

  • OMG THANK YOU!!! B-Boys have left tuntableism and THIS is what it has become?!?!?!? 4 djs to do this?!?!?!?!? Won DMC how many times?!?!?!? My goodness :-(

  • they won DMC 2002/2003/2004 and 2005

  • This is the equivalent to what heavy metal artist did to the guitar solo. All technical and NO soul.

  • It's not that technical

  • I noticed that this vid was not....so can one of you guys please tell an old guy like me EXACTLY what is it about this performance that is sooooooo amazing. I'm not being an asshole I honestly want to understand.

  • It just sounds good. You don't have to like it if things have changed

  • Again, I see comments like "awesome" "incredible" etc like this is the John Coltrane of turntablism!! "It just sounds good" ??????? Shit Soulja Boy just sounds good to millions!!! Ok i'll take it as a just a bunch of people that must be new to this on the comments. Wow..think i'll just go watch some excecutioner vids

  • Stop being pretentious

  • I have Built from Scratch and Scratchology

  • ok so you're the type of guy that would watch a Bruce Li movie when you have the entire Bruce Lee collection...works for me

  • hahaha what a fag!!!

  • @kaleba your a fool.plain and simple

  • i know why they won :)

  • HAHAHA!

  • this is some crazy shit

  • Fantastisch!!!!

  • theyre goood , but any dj i think would of had it tough to get 1st place for a long time if DJ Qbert hadnt stepped down ;)

  • Very original. Props.

  • custom vinyl?

  • it's funny :)

  • Is there anypalace i can download this mix as mp3? damn they are sooo F**ing good!

  • kinda reminds me of the star wars band in the bar....

  • what's the name of this crew? and if someone know's can you let me know!

    THANX....

  • It's C2C. It's a french crew. The name of djs are Atom, Pfel, Greem and 20Syl. The last two are part of the best group of hip hop : Hocus Pocus.

  • Clipe muito show com

  • Jazz is samba, samba is rap, rap is rock...
