can anyone tell me why traditionals have black dots on their legs?

It makes them more relistic. They are called chestnut and all horses in real life have them. They are there from birth, When the horses are devolped, there legs ar etogether and when they are born the chestnuts(Grey dots) split, and yea lol

Update: I found out this is wrong, chestnuts are just there, there's no reason for them, no one knows why they have them, they just do. :)

thats cool my first breyer horse was this wooden horse that came with a two stall deluxe barn and nobody ever talks about the little wooden horse they get when you buy the barn or i dont know if they even includ it anymore cause i got it like 2 or 3 years ago...now i just use it as a statue for my barn since its not colored just brown.

oh well i hope you get a new one ! he is the greatest model ! my friends got so many ribbons with hers at the tour show ! i hope mine with to hers had a couple scratchs but he still placed so i hope mine will , mine has one scratch that he hade on his right hind hip when i took him out of his box , i hope her does well to . i have about 16 stable mates that are all in great condtion and i hope will do well at the lives

good luck...and I hate when you take breyers out of the box that are scatched up I gave my friend a breyer and it was scratched up and she just got it out the box!!!!!Breyer horses are getting worse and worse I just got 10 stablemates and they all either had bloated faces, bloated legs, and paint flaws!!!im starting to get made with Breyer!!!!lol once again good luck showing!!

yah , but i know how to fix bent legs , you just get your model with a bent let , get your blow dryer , turn on you blow dryer and point it toward your horses leg untill it starts to be bendable then bend it back to its arigonal shape ! but be carful make shure its bendable enough ! because if its now it might break off the models leg :() !
