the reverse thing works really well if you have FWD, last year i got completely stuck on ice and nothing i could do would get me out, so i turned around and reversed out with relative ease
when winter starts, i put 2 tyres chain in my car trunk, every winter i get surprised atleast one time, i park on a side and fasten the chains, i always get through without trouble.
This is the first smart guy I have seen on YT goin up in reverse, when it dosnt work going the right way go in reverse and 50% u probably will make it, if u have a person in the car make them sit on the hood of the car and u will even have more possibility of making it :) Cheers from Switzerland
LOL It always makes me laugh watching people apply their brakes on sheet ice for all the good that it does. I think every driver should have skid and ice training
