  • 4 people were sexual assaulted by PH and chainsawed by Walter.

  • I love this song so much.. <3

  • I really miss Akira doing work for silent hill, i love his music, and iw as mad to hear he's not doing Downpour. But Downpour really looks like it could revitalize the series, and after hearing some of what Dan Licht (w/e his name is) can do, i feel like it won't be too bad, especially for downpour, it fits.I'd much rather have Akira doing it of course, his musics amazing!

  • @MrNicktheparakeet 5 was more visually ok to me. Like the plot was kind of a copy of 2's plot with some 3 thrown in. Also the characters didn't do it for me...I didn't feel attached to any of them. They felt underdeveloped. but that's just my take on it :)...I will definitely buy 6 though because I have every Silent Hill game lol

  • @melancholymistress89...I completely agree...I mean first Team Silent, then Akira, and now the very familiarity of Silent Hill is gone. I honestly don't understand why they completely threw away the actual town itself. I wish the fans could design these games...

  • Akira You inspired me to delve into my own mind and what i saw was soo strange ... But its lead me to my future career of a psycologist :) Thanks

  • @andypmz07 So glad for ya! :D Very fascinating career choice, & excellent taste in music!

  • 4 people were weak and needed PH to punish them for their sins.

  • Tender Sugar = LSD in powder

  • @bd3n21 White Claudia

  • @spearofhope2 Yeah, It's White Claudia in Silent Hill,

but what is it in the real life if not LSD?

  • the only good american silent hill is shatered memories and still not comparable to the classics

  • Indeed I stare deep into the darkness, when I am intranced by it. This video reminds me of how bitter sweet the endless void is.

  • Nothing can beat the original Silent Hills (1-4).

Origins was decent. Homecoming was a slight disapointment. Shattered Memories was a HUGE disapointment.

If they get the gameplay decent in 8, it will just be meh. Without Akira, You won't feel the atmosphere in the music. Akira sent shivers down your spine, no-one can replace him.

  • @chickennuggetmobile i still havent play sh shattered memories who is like? im curious

  • @9rmetal It's supposed to be a reimagining of the first one. But you can't walk or run like in the original and you don't fight enemies. The plot is not the same AT ALL. There is no Alessa and you don't even stay in Silent Hill.

  • @chickennuggetmobile

    O.o wtf ...

  • I miss the old silent hill team... :(..akira is so amazing, but so sad he isn't doing the music for the nest game

  • its the room that confines me

  • true, akira IS Silent Hill

  • akira yamoaka is one of the best musicians ever.

  • Akira's done after Shattered Memories. What...will they do? The music is gone!!! They would need to cross the vast world looking for someone and they wouldn't find anybody because Akira is the only guy that can make such disturbing/awesome music!

  • It just won't be Silent Hill anymore. In my opinion the gameplay died with Homecoming. Without Akira, it will just be an empty American shell with 'Silent Hill' stamped on it. Someone would REALLY have to study and know the previous games to ever manage to come close to replicating the atmosphere or style.

  • @melancholymistress89 You should really play Shattered Memories. It rivals SH2 in story quality and general "holy fuck"ery.

  • @melancholymistress89 I can see why you wouldn't like homecoming, but I still think it really had that Silent Hill feel to it, personally. It's sad how many people bash it. D:

  • @KaminaClose One of the major things about the other Silent Hill games was that the world always seemed very open, even when it wasn't. You didn't come across locked doors very often, and when you did there was a reason. A lot of little things had meaning to them and all of it together made a very tactile game. Most of Homecoming felt like walking down a hallway with arrows on the floor, with locked doors around every corner. Plus things seemed to be put in without reason, like Pyramid Head.

  • @melancholymistress89 I hit locked doors all the time in the Silent Hill 2 and 3 yeah 1 didn't have many but don't say that you didn't hit many in all of the other games...locked doors are actually a good addition to a horror game...especially when you're being chased by a monster and you're out of ammo...

  • @Arella17 I never said that I didn't hit any locked doors, just not as many as in Homecoming. There was never really a chance to get lost, which I always thought was more terrifying when out of ammo or being chased. Locked doors do have their place and can be useful, but when they are used to basically 'guide' the player through a game it becomes boring.

  • @KaminaClose

But the story WAS pretty good.

  • @melancholymistress89 true in shatterd memories the story made no sense compared to the original and had a little sense of horror because you can tell when and where the monsters are coming there are only two monstersand no way to kill them

  • @IcyDeath7 They could have made a REALLY horrific Silent Hill game with the idea that you can't kill the monsters, but since all of the monster encounters are basically instanced it doesn't really matter. But I have a good imagination, so I just put the original story with the new graphics and went my own merry way.

  • @melancholymistress89 ya but why is dahlia yor wife that pissedme off more than anything

  • @IcyDeath7 Hey, no... WHAT?! I haven't gotten that far, yet. What the heck?!

  • @melancholymistress89 the games 6 1/2 hours long

  • @IcyDeath7 Yeah, and I got it for my birthday in January. I'm in college and work, I have had no time >_<

  • @melancholymistress89 ahh well sucks for yiu cuz for all the endings you have to play five times

  • @melancholymistress89 actually it died with the room. and thenew one thats coming out is only kicking dirt on its grave

  • @abysmalvsmarcus I would agree with completely except for the fact that Homecoming had a few good songs and the game play was generally good (if over simplified and a bit monotonous). And since Akira Yamaoka is not going to be working on the soundtracks of any further Silent Hill games (after Homecoming) I feel that the game series died with that game.

  • @melancholymistress89 I said it died because silent hill 4 the room was going to be a totally different game. The people who made it just gave them the rights to the game and just painted the silent hill atmosphere with the engine, they slapped walter sullivan on it and it then it became a silent hill franchise. I'm using the term "franchise" loosely tho

  • @melancholymistress89 i havent finished homecoming yet, i suffered from having a glitch in the hotel level. I saved the game and suddenly the room i was suppose to go to i cant have access to it now, and it appears im not the only one cuz i see people complaining about it on youtube as well.

  • @abysmalvsmarcus I honestly think that Homecoming was rushed out by what were basically fan boys of the original games. So there are A LOT of glitches, and the story is very shallow with not much thought behind the use of certain monsters (particularly the Red Pyramid who was a major symbol in the second game). Don't worry, you aren't alone!

  • @melancholymistress89 i agree man

  • @melancholymistress89 I gotta agree, I liked all of the Silent Hill except Origins, but even then Akira's sound was just...perfect.

At least he's still helping with games, but Silent Hill 6 (I refuse to call it 8/9) looks mediocre...

  • @howtoread I haven't even bothered looking at it. It's just going to disappoint and irritate me.

  • @melancholymistress89 you need to have a go with it I promise you its better than it looks. my oppinon I think SH4 is the most disturbing

  • @howtoread you didnt like Origins? I think its best psp horror game if you ask me....

  • @PhilipsLS1300

It's an ok game, but throughout the whole thing I really couldn't shake the feeling that they were just rehashing Silent Hill 2 and expecting us to be too stupid to notice.

  • @melancholymistress89 hey give 6 a chance, it hasnt even come out yet, and 5 wasnt so bad, not the best but hey.

  • @melancholymistress89 You took the words right out of my mouth.

  • @melancholymistress89 in my opinion silent hill died when team silent was disbaned, none of the american made, climax silent hills are macht to the real silent hills, by japanese team silent. im going to miss this old best ever scary game series, that where silent hill 1 to 4 ;(

  • @melancholymistress89 I agree with you all most completely but my only hopes rely on the protege Akira left behind with the company, whom he said, worked closely with him threw out the series

  • @IndalecioCeleste Now Akira is gone I hope Shattered Memories is the last game. It's a good one to go out on.

  • @IndalecioCeleste Akira already stated that if they want him to work on the next Silent Hill, he'll be more than willing to do it.

  • Ugh... Akira, you put so much emotion into everything you've ever done with Silent Hill. I can only applaud your excellence and your greatness. Please keep making Silent Hills and making amazing soundtracks for every game.

  • I believe he announced he wasn't on anymore silent hills. : (

  • Where did he announce this?

  • And why?

  • @Sephymuffins Guys, I know he made wonderful music, and it was fun while it lasted but let him go. He wants to move on and do music for other games (maybe movies too) besides. If he did something this good for Silent hill Imagine what he could do for other games. Now what I wanna know is why did they give Silent Hill to U.S.? Wouldn't it have made more sense to give it to another company from Japan? I truly think what makes SH scary is because we are seeing how Japan views American Horror.

  • akira yamaoka is a genius

  • i love this song

  • me too!

  • when silent hill chose its composer they did a GOOD job whe they picked akira yomaoka

  • they truly did. akira yamaoka is awesome!!!

  • yep

  • Akira didnt did good, he did Excellent!!!! :D

  • YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! he did exellent!!!! O3O

  • She did the four good ones right?

  • @C666O

  • Oh hai thar. im in ur wallz pozesin ur roomz

  • Henry is a beast.

  • Ahhhh, The Room wasn't better than 3rd or 2nd part but it still was Silent Hill ;) Awesome game! I wish that americans could recreate atmosphere of this silent town in Homecoming.

  • this vid is INTENSE!!!!

  • oh yeah,i preordered the game way back in the day and got a SH4 original soundtrack. i still have it to...hmmm,i wonder what i can get on e-bay for it?

  • a good nice amount of cash

  • the guy writing all over himself is joseph. he's the one who tells henry to kill walter before you enter the last battle. i like this vid,the tender sugar song is one of my favorite songs from the games.

  • i think SH4: The Room has the best soundtracks!

  • I like it alot! Just one question, though. Who is the guy that's writing all over his hands and stuff? Is it Henry or Joseph?

  • amazing fucking video!

  • Cool video!!!! I like the Empire Mix of "Tender Sugar" better though...
