  • Excellent. Thanks for the demo. My moog lp arrives in two days. Now I have an idea of some of the sounds it is capable of achieving

  • how easy is it to access the presets on the moog?

  • @metalheadbassist123 they can be access inmediatly: just moving the left knob to change preset. To alter them, just save your tweaks.

  • thanks (:

  • is the phatty monophonic or polyphonic

  • @neogeo53 it is monophonic

  • is this baby a midi ?

  • @francaisemusique yes, it has midi

  • So the moog has built in sounds right? Can i also use it as a midi contoler in ableton or record the sounds into ableton?

  • @ace101guy it is a synthesizer, so yes, it can do sounds and record them on your computer, and yes, you can also use it as midi controller.

  • @ace101guy

surely this is a troll. of not, wtf?

  • what is DAW..?

  • @thewretchedrod digital audio workstation

  • @thewretchedrod DAW stands for Digital Audio Workstation, my EMU 1820m

  • what is DAW..?

  • cool

  • Goodness god I want this.

  • The sad thing is the sound is nowhere near as good as the original models...built 40 years ago.

  • @myownservant true. but they're also more reliable and not $3500

  • sounds like the original dawn of the dead soundtrack

  • is it worth buying? i was actually planning on getting an ms 10

  • I play guitar but these sounds are absolutely amazing. I need one need one need one of these also lol

  • Is there a built in gate on this synth? If no, what would do the job?

  • Moog and ARP made the sexiest synths-check out the ARP Quadra if you get the chance.

Ppl say its an overated string machine but the synth section on a Quadra through a digital delay is mind blowing.

    Little phatty is sex.

  • I need one I need one I need one.

  • i really like your demos. they're actual demos. i aspire to get one of these one day. :)

  • OMG the sound at 1:04 is in welcome to the machine by pink floyed!

  • this is a synth funeral! LOL.

  • @lattekid22 XD

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooow

    whaaaaaaaaaathaaa kindaaaaaaaaaa demostration!!!

    wooow wonderfull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    you are the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are the best ever little phatty composer ever seen!!!!

  • awesome :-)

  • whats the difference between this and the first one?

  • @44eelz Btw this is the first one but having soundbanks and OS upgraded to version 2. In hardware terms the only difference is that LP 2 has usb port.

  • @RanKirlian oh so this stage 1? i thought the stage 2 was gray and the other was brown...?

  • @44eelz no: wood side panels are from the tribute edition with also the Bob Moog signature on (metal) back panel. Both stage 1 and 2 have grey side panels but stage 1 has metal back panel while in stage 2 this is black with grey Moog logo. Check Moog site for pics. Anyway, all of them do the same and sound identical.

  • this thing screams like a bastard

  • stage two looks nicer with the black back :P

  • love the setting at 1:09 and then theres that filter knob again... lol... people actually debate if this is worth having over software synthesizers? fwahd? ;)

  • This is the best demo of this puppy i've found so far...good job.

  • Is this synth based on the different sound frequencys such as saw tooth triangle ect. and the nobs customise such things as reonance filter osolation ect? or dose it have a bank of sounds. i hope its the first

  • @fred7984fred

    It's the first

  • @BolsonCerrado it's actually both I think, there are 100 customizable presets in the LED screen

  • @TheFatherlongLegs I find the Little Phatty much useful than a MS10. MS10 looks nice with all those patching points but, compared to the Moog, it is a pretty limited machine with only 1 vco, poor sound and usually overpriced.

  • amazing sound

  • Love it.

  • very nice video, but i have a question. Does the stage 1 have an other bank of presets than the stage 2 ? I own a LP stage 2 and it's a wonderfull little machine.

  • I've got this one upgraded to stage 2 OS, so it's equal to LP Stage 2 except for the usb port, included the I think the sound banks from stage 2 were also loaded when it was upgraded by the previous owner.

  • sounds much like my old Prophet 600 in some ways. but much better
