love this song... and i use to feel empty too when listening to songs like these, it means in your soul that you want all to be right within the world, but that you feel powerless to make it so and that is where you feel like crying out in anguish, i don't feel powerless anymore, but i am feeling rather impatient ;) the song stirs a nobility within me and i feel the desire/need to do something.

That song is really painful, in my opinion. While Colette was singing, she sounded like she was in deep pain, and that the reality of being the Chosen is coming down really hard on her. Even though the meaning of the song is to "let there be light", it still sounds very sad and beautiful at the same time.

Colette is a really deep and interesting character. I feel sorry that I didn't realize that while playing the beginning of ToS and thought of her as annoying. :/

It takes an insanely strong will to smile all the time when life is constantly throwing bricks at you. Gotta respect her for that.

Wow, hey. It's the same for me. I also found her relatively annoying on my first playthrough...I didn't really like her on my 2nd one either, but when I played ToS for the 3rd time it somehow made 'click' for me and I slowly but surely started loving that girl o_o

Now I feel bad for not realizing sooner what an awesome and strong character she is. Colette seriously turned out to be my most favourite anime girl ever. And I know LOTS of anime.
