As well as Bridcut's Elgar the BBC are going to show a new Tony Palmer film about Gustav Holst.

Can't wait for either.

I preferred Britcut's Vaughan Williams but loved Palmer's Britten and Stravinsky.

Looks like John Bridcut is taking over from Tony Palmer as the great maker of films about composers.

I loved his portraits of Britten and Vaughan Williams (better than Palmer's) and am realy looking forward to Elgar: The Man Behind the Mask.
