@Leezareon you would simply shade all of the event A and its compliment (A') which would be everything that is not event A. The entire venn diagram would be shaded, given the information you provided
im studying in thailand and you have no idea how difficult it is to be taught by someone with a Thai accent -__- you're the reason i get anything in maths lol
@patrickJMT i fucken love you, ive got a math test tommorow my teacher told me a way close to this were it is all on 1 diagram but using different colour pens and were the two colours colide is the answer but i did not understad it very well, but you made me soooo happy because now i can do this easier and get the correct answer
Hey Mr.Patrick I'm a great follower of ur videos. You really help us to clear the concept.I'm from India .Preparing 4 tougher exams. Can u teach me 4 sets of Venn Diagram?Thank you 4 ur wonderful work.
wow, these last few videos are tying in very nicely with an intro to abstract mathematics class i'm taking right now! thanks for solidifying my understanding. appreciate the videos!
@patrickJMT im going to college and my major is math. im fascinated by set theory, number theory, algebra and pretty much any other forms of math i can get my hands on. i watch as much math as i can on youtube and read what i can on my own. so when i say im interested i mean it very much. i finally found something in life that i am passionate about. i know i can do this. so even after a few examples i want to see more. hope you understand what i mean.
@andyct1982 sure, i understand very much. just was not sure exactly it was that you are interested in at first : ) math is super deep and super fascinating and super rewarding to study (for me at least). good luck in your studies!
@patrickJMT thanks. at the end of the video you say that you'll put up more videos like this one if anyone is interested. well im very interested so i look forward to the next one. please keep up the great work.

I don't understand the first diagram, surely the overlap section would not be shaded seeing as it's B?
And it's P(A or (not)B)?
