A lot of people say that the Japanese Quail is the same as the European Quail even breeders say it. So why does the European Quail have a different mating call? I am sure that the scientists are wrong and that they are two distinct species with in the Genre, a bit like a German Shepherd dog is not a Border Collie but they can still cross breed and have fertile young etc, Does any one know regarding the Quails?
