  • @FranBro in support of your comment, the drummer/bass were probably the most sought-after session musicians of their time. Brzezicki is an astounding drummer. The list of bands they've played with is astounding. Mediocre? Whatever anyone thinks of BC, like/dislike mediocre is the last thing the musicians were.

  • love you always Stuart

  • First class!!!

  • You can't beat the classic!! Stuart Adamson forever!!

  • me likes

  • hope u found it and that one day we all will, RIP Stuart & Gary.

  • What a Band. Thanks for uploading.

You made an old man happy.

  • Amazing song, if this had been released in the 80's, it would've been a top 5 hit!

  • GREAT BAND!!!:)

  • If were to hear this without knowing anything about BC, I would never guess that Stuart was Scottish. It's interesting how as the band's musical style changed so did Stuart's accent, or at least I hear a difference.

  • RIP GENIUS TILL THE END A GREAT LOSS TO MUSIC AND THE HUMAN RACE I HOPE YOU ARE IN A PERFECT WORLD

  • this proves they were still relevant and could kick the ass out of it at the end.

The GREATEST band ever - My Beatles - 5 Stars

  • makes you proud to be scottish

  • The world may not be perfect but stu it would have been better with you in it....Rock On

  • Best song on Damascus. Oh, and Fragile Thing. and Dive Into Me. Ripping track.

  • We are all running with you, Stu!

  • Don't worry Stu you'll find what you're looking for soon x

  • Well put. I don't believe anybody lives or dies for nothing. Everybody has a purpose. Even if Stuart took himself out before totally fulfilling his particular purpose, he certainly didn't do too badly, eh? A man who brought that much happiness to people through his art should be remembered for that art, and not for the manner of his death. Only God knows the thoughts of the heart. Adamson was a troubled soul and I believe he is now continuing his journey to "find what he's looking for."

  • Seperated at birth: Stuart Adamson and Ray Liotta. RIP Stuart. You are badly missed.

  • i love this group-tori

  • quality........big country rule.major league :)

  • The live sections of this were filmed at the fan club convention at the royal holloway uni around 98/99 ? I was in that crowd. What a weekend that was.The question and answer session with the band was hilarious. The two hour live set was awesome. Happy memories indeed. Thanks for posting.

  • you are so lucky to have been there

    Stuart, bless him

    so so missed!

  • I'm sure hes found his perfect world. Rock on Stuart!

  • and so say all of us

  • I hope you found your perfect world, Stuart! Rest in peace, you ment a lot too me.

  • probably one of their most heavy song, along with king of emotion

  • i lov bc

  • Stuart Adamson was one of this world's biggest musician.. A pretty underrated guitarist too.. I started listening to BC somewhere around 2003-2004, hell I would have payed all my money and wrnt to loan more if I could see them live... Got The final fling a couple of months ago, bought in Scotland =D

  • @musicismyysalvation

Are you f*cking high? Do a little research.

The drummer is a session player who has played with Townshend Stuart is a brilliant guitar player who can play any style Man, are you ignorant

  • This band was pure GENIUS! What a loss regarding Stuart! At least the world still has the music to listen to, although it will never be the same.

  • this must be a rare video, i've never seen it as well. good to know that there's still something to discover 'bout them!

  • I am humbled by what I see of Big Country. I lived through the whole time of their music and I missed it all except for their first hit song. How do I feel? BAD. I missed out for sure. I would have seen them in concert. And believe me I have seen a lot!

  • Think they should have just done the live bit for the video - a good start with Stuart running but seemed to run out of ideas - suprised they didn't show the crowd, BC live were the best live band ever - assume this was what they were videoing with us at the Country Club Convention...

  • Big Country is quickly becoming my favorite band. Have always liked them but rediscovering some of this new material.

  • thx for the vid-great song

  • wow this is the firt time i've heard this song..this is great! good vid too!

  • Awsome song Great album also !! Wish you were still with us Stew great visionary that is soooooooo missed today

  • These guys could bring it right up until the very end. Nice. They were still cool well after they stoped selling discs in big numbers.

  • Absolutely fucking great.

  • Rocks like a bastard!

  • shame we didnt get to find out where this slightly diffent musical direction would lead us to in future years. this song has a serious groove going on.. fucking love it.

  • Thanx so much for uploading this brilliant song utahwrx! Big Country are one of the (few) GREATS!

  • Fantastic song, Stuart will NEVER be forgotten.
