Very clever idea! One thing you can do in the program is have two sequence beams, so you can steer and drive at the same time. It looks like you have a a very strong steering system, what did you use? Worm and |\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/| (<--I forgot what that one was called)?

I worked in a casino as a bellman and had a customer who's son had a large lego army tank. I joked with them about putting it together while I stored their luggage, and they laughed and said to go ahead and try. I completely put it together and when they got back, they could not believe it. They told me they had tried for a long time and could not get it together. Legos are a lot of fun! Best gift I ever got as a kid!

very nice programming. im in real robotics engineering, and this is defenitely a very good start for this field of work. I highly advise any future engineers to pick up one of these kits and really gt to work on it. the possibilities are endless and they cost roughly $200-$300 I might pick one up myself :)

yea i got myself a NXT kit for my 17th birthday, to see if i'm interested in mechanical engineering and if that's really what I wanted.

6 months later, I can't get enough of it and my grades are suffering from my extensive constructing. I will be studying at the Technical University of Delft next year: "Mechanical Engineering" =).

Lego mindstorms is more than just a toy, it is quite advanced, and it has decided my future =).

wanna something like this but not spending so much money for that? try HL2 mod - Garry's mod 10 - combination with wiremod addon it makes complete virtual physical playground with possibility to make your contraptions "alive". Develop your creativity :-P (and use PacSteam to download HL2 and garrysmod for free)
