  • Forgot to mention it, but he was a VERY nice man. A lot of fun!

  • We met him on a field trip. I cant remember exactly where we went for it, but he answered questions and taught us a few sea shanties (pretty much like here :3). We even got to go on board the Mimi. Let me tell you, it's even smaller than it looks on the miniseries!

  • I met him at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut; saw the ship; it was great!!

  • I did not know he was visiting the principal at our school. When she asked if anyone would be interested in having him come to their class I jumped at the chance. He is really a very nice guy. He loved the copy of the entire performance that I transferred from the old VHS tape I made to a DVD and sent to him for his 75th birthday. Yes, he is not only a physicist and actor but a good guitarist and singer as well, a true Renaissance man.

  • Funny thing - when I first saw "The Voyage of the Mimi" in my fifth grade science class, I pictured Peter Marston as a guitarist. It is quite a surprise to find out that he really is one!
