  • "How much are you cooking for these people?"

    "It's a lot of people!"

  • Ian's parents need a Ouzo enema! Gak, they are just so self-righteously intolerant!

  • What's the music that starts at 3:36?

  • in the car ians dad looks mad and the mom looks sick!!!

  • his parents look sick. They look nauseous the whole time.

  • "Ouzo" is a strong drink. in Greece, they actually put ice or water in ouzo so it wouldn't be so strong. If you have 4 or 5 shots of "ouzo" like they did you'll get seriously drunk.

  • they asses got tow-up from the flo-up lolz

  • i'm sorry. watching this movie makes me want to be a greek. look at her parents, very doting and friendly. her brother love and worships her. her family is celebrating her engagement and upcoming wedding.

  • @MissBiguk lool oh ok hahha now I get it

  • If they were to ever make a movie based on Silvester Stallone's life then Nick (Tula's brother) should totally get the part!

  • i love the flower on the cake.

  • Lol... Ian's dad says gracias(thank you in spanish) when he takes the drink for the 2nd or 3rd time.....

  • bunt! oh, cake. there's a hole in this cake.

  • Whoppaaa!!!! I love the greek families. Big family, delicious food, friendly, nice, fun loving... what's not to like? I don't understand why Ian's parents are making faces like that. I have a very small family....and what I wouldn't do to get a fun-loving biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig family like this!! :D

  • @pulon777 All you gotta do is marry a Greek :)

  • I think it is the same with every civilzation which is old .This reminds soo much of my culture and people!

  • @sm2411 What culture did you come from? I'm Chinese, which means I have a huge family and big, loud parties! I think it's the same with other Asian/European cultures :) And Mexican.

  • nick nick nick nick.........nikki!

  • 1.10 great moment

  • His parents are so uptight. They should take the pole out.

  • Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick, Nikkie and I...am Gus. For some odd reason I thought he was going to say his name was Nick.

  • This is as much about class as it is about cultural differences. The guy's parents are lawyers, but nobody in her family seems to have gone to college.

  • @lizclegg but Greeks are often very business savvy. Her family in the movie own various businesses. They dont really need to go to college if they dont want to.

  • lmao "there's a hole in this cake!"

  • thats a lot of Nicks !

  • it's lunch lady from degrassi!!!!!

  • 8 people don't like bundt cake

  • @ChrisRane

i love the parents meeting each other hahahahaha

  • i wanted to say that my brother's name is andreas, after our grandpa. i wasn't clear before..

  • her brother is a little damn fairy

  • "The bo-bopsy..." LOL....

  • @coffeerehab jajajaja!! thumbs up!!

  • :D they all have the same names! LMAO!!

  • i lovehowthey don't know how to say delicious right.

  • lol. toula's brothers. they're hilarious!

  • why do theyu all have the same names? what's up with that!

  • @TorynMarch because we, the greeks, are named after our grandparents. it is a tradition. for example, my grandmother's name was lula so my parents baptised me lula. my grandfather's was andreas (andrew that is) so his name is andreas. it is a kind of honour that we pay to our parents by giving to our children their names.

  • Ian's parents come to life after a few drinks of that liquid LSD. LOL

  • and now the bon cake XD

  • I'm gonna puke ... So cheesy

  • From the hormonies

  • Tria! Three! Wow, Ian. Way to piece together the languages! "Everyone, let's go into the three houses!" -_-

  • "Oh...hallo!" Gets me every time...

"nick, nick, nick, nick, nick, and nick, nick, nikki, and I...am Gus" ROFL xD

"HAAALLLOOO" i love this movie xD

  • 8:56 lol the grandmother!

  • haha "The cake has a hole in it"...

  • i lovvvee tulas aunt

  • "There's a hole in this kek!"

my favorite line in the film... although most cakes we make in greece are baked in that shape, so innaccurate, but whatever

  • Ha ha ha! I do not understand much English. I'm learning English but I think this movie is hilarious!!!

  • mm my parents names are Rodney and Harry

  • the bobopsi hahahaha

  • Eine keki mori hahahahahahhahahaha

  • Rodney and Harry lol lol lol or Nick Nick Nick Nick and.....Nicky xDDD

  • Anyone else notice the woman with the champagne called them "Rodney Harry" hahahah

  • In the Greek/Armenian culture, they at least have some respect for the men in the family...if Ian did too, he would have his father sit next to him ni the passenger seat and the women in the back. It's just more respectful.

  • hmmm...wouldn't mind marrying Tula's brother...he's hot!

  • Thats a lot of guys named nick !

  • Ian's parent's are so lifeless.

  • @da0217 they are not lifeless, they are simply discreet. I assure you, I come from the mediterranian country, and I hate how people there behave, so I went north to escape my own people. In this film, one thinks that greeks (and other mediterranian people) are warm and lovely persons, but believe me, living among these people becomes a living hell after a while: you have no privacy, you can't do what you want and always must do what others tell you to do.

No, I really love Ian's parents

  • @msinvincible2000 Lol. You don't have to assure me of anything. I am Armenian which is the next best or worst thing, depending on how you look at it, next to being Greek. And I understand what it is that you are talking about which is mainly the overinvolvement of others in your life. Yes, I know how that could be a terrible thing, but to I am very sorry you had to run away north from your people and could not find a better way to deal with them. Cont...

  • @msinvincible2000 Ian's parents are on the opposite end the spectrum, which is equally bad. It's the biggest event in their son's life and they are seem like they could not care less. Discreet? Why be? How about some emotion? The dude is getting married for fuck's sake!!! Lol. Ian's parents are lifeless. Which may have been over done by the makers of the film, but still they are a couple of lifeless stiffs!

  • The scene with Toula and her brother is really moving.

  • "This cake has a hole in it".

  • OPA!!

  • Nic, nic,nic,nic, uh... nikiii**waves**,nic,nic, and I am Gus.

  • toula: how much are you cooking for these people?

ma: well its a lot of people

    toula: them

    ma: and us..

    toula: wich makes seven

    ma: and the family...

toula: you...you...invited the whole family? :O

  • Rodney, Harry Ouza! LMAO!!! I love this movie.

  • All Harriet can say is "Oh."

  • At 1:12 there's a squeaky voice that says "That's classy!" WHO SAID THAT IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! Thumbs up if you noticed that too

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos I think that was Toula's older sister, Athena.

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos lol, it was probably Toula's sister.

  • @dimanria it is toula's sister her accent slips a couple times in the movie so you hear that nasly voice it's really quick but it is there ^^

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos

i heard it too , i am assuming it was the sister!

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos That is deffinitely Toula's mother voice. Even though the camera was focusing on her and she didn't say anything. This movie is full of mistakes considering pictures.

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos Got to be Athena, Toula's sister. She was the only woman who walked over to Nikki.

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos Voola is funny about the drinks. "Another. You're Greek now. Don't be shy." I guess the parents are "Greek now" because their son married into a Greek family. ha ha

  • @ForkAndSpoonVideos I think it was Athena. Has to be, right?

  • Nico- Hey Ian! Good to see you man, listen you know I really think you should say echo treo aheadia Ian- echo treo aheadia? Nico- yeah thats good you got it Ian (with a smile on his face)- I'm not falling for that again Nico (innocent shrug) -what? Ian- yeah? what. Angelo! Angelo- What? Ian- How do you say everyone lets go in the house? Angelo- echo treo aheadia Ian- everyone! echo treo aheadia! (I have three testicles) Everyone starts laughing hysterically Ian- you're in so much trouble!
  • My parents names are Rodney and Harriet!! LOL And they wrote Rodney and Harry!! LOL Soooo funny!!!

  • I just wanna slap Ians mother in the face. They are sooooo dryy!!

  • @Bahareh17 Pour some icy cold water over them, that would work too. XP

  • @Bahareh17 i think they were just uncomfortable being around strangers i would be!!

  • 8 people have holes in their cakes ... =)

  • I've learned to always respond to blind dinner invitations by wearing, 1. A drop-dead Italian suit, or 2. Leather and nail-heads. Hey, I don't know the situation in advance, right? So, I MAKE the situation. Let my hosts figure it out. ;])

  • you greek now dont be shy . lmao that was a funny part :)

  • Diana = Artemis

Diana is the Roman Goddess equivalent of the Greek Goddess Artemis...that's why you don't hear too many Greeks named Diana, because it's Roman not Greek.

  • who plays nico? he's gorgeous..

  • @jerallovesyou Louis Mandylor

  • Opaaaaa!!! I wanna go to a greek party too! ;)

  • That's funny because the only Greek guy I have ever met was named Nicolas :P

  • "the bibopsy."LMFAO

  • i would hate to have ian's parents D:

  • lol at the Ian's families faces ..best scene in movie :)))))))))))))

  • Lmfaoo "inside the lump he found teeth and a spinal cord.. The lump was my twin." LMFAO my favorite part! :)

  • THEY WOULD GET ALONG BEAUTIFULLY WITH MY HUGE MEXICAN FAMILY

  • @eleanor7rigby no shit, huh?LMAO

  • RODNEY AND HARRY?! XDDDD

  • "there's a hole in dis cake..." hands down favorite part lol.. it's a shame ian's parents have to be so stereotypically clueless in this film though. like they're absolutely horrified to be experiencing a new culture.. come on!

  • @herestheskinny i think it's not so much "experiencing a new culture" but more like being around noisy, hyper, party-goers. Ian's family are those stereotypical quiet,, prim and proper ones. they werent clueless, just a little shocked! plus, tuula told them to meet her parents for a "nice, quiet dinner!"

  • @VardaLombardi yeah i agree.. i guess i just don't care for they way his parents are portrayed.. like how they have no idea where greece is and stuff like that. but oh well. that's just me. it's still a good movie ;)

  • I love this movie and greek culture i wish i had a family this active and this big such a great movie so tipsy new years XD + a littel pot god i love nia vardalos shes a genious and i hope she stays safe

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!
