Great song, great conversation. I did not see Romans 5:18 or I Corinthians 15:22 stated. According to I Corinthians 15, a lot more than the sins of man were covered! I don't believe Calvin considered these verses when He inadvertently indoctrinated billions on the belief of "Total Depravity" which keeps mankind in bondage to ideals of good and evil, locking ideology into war instead of peace! If sin comes to all man, Salvation does too! No choice to be a sinner or to be saved - the cost's paid.

Only God knows the heart of a man. We cannot say when a man have really faith in God, if this faith is truly based in the love to God and not to the self.

Faith is a gift. Unbelief is a sin (and, therefore, Christ died for this sin, too; so when God decides to save a man, no sin can preclude this).

'World' doesn't mean 'all the people of the world', but a certain group of people with a common trace (read AW Pink for more); e.g., the world of dead. The Bible says that Christ died for ALL of our sins, but if this mean 'all sins of ALL peoples', why some men go to the hell? Because their unbelief? But unbelief is a sin?

The Bible SAYS that Christ is the Saviour of all men, he died for ALL men. However, it also clearly says that it applies "specially" to those that believe. This is not a "Limited Atonement" Christ's work on the Cross is not Limited to "elect" individuals. It is AVAILABLE to all and was FOR ALL.

But the Atonement for sin that Christ paid was NOT LIMITED to only those who believe, it was the full magnitude with enough power to atone for every sin ever committed on this earth. And the root of that problem, the root of all sin is questions God's words......

@fisiolg Try reading Genesis for free will or any other of the 65 books. Yes grace is a GIFT. Christ died for ALL men. Hebrews 2:9, Titus 2:11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, 1 John 2:2. Scripture teaches that the Atonement was for all men. Each person who was ever born had the ability to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ or they could reject him. This is why the Atonement is APPLIED to those who believe. "who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." 1 Timothy 4:10

When you defend the freewill from God (I suppose that this is your meaning of freewill, because freewill from the other creatures is irrelevant here) you make the Scriptures fall in self-contradiction. I'm not following any men, but just the Bible, the plain logic and the general rules of hermeneutic, like simple contextualization (you must also make this, because we need love God with *understanding*).

@fisiolg Of course grace is a gift. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:9.  Notice the "through faith" obviously someone has to have faith. That is a free will situation. The Holy Spirit uses the gospel to loose the chains on a man's heart so he then has the ability to receive or reject Salvation.
