Great song, great conversation. I did not see Romans 5:18 or I Corinthians 15:22 stated. According to I Corinthians 15, a lot more than the sins of man were covered! I don't believe Calvin considered these verses when He inadvertently indoctrinated billions on the belief of "Total Depravity" which keeps mankind in bondage to ideals of good and evil, locking ideology into war instead of peace! If sin comes to all man, Salvation does too! No choice to be a sinner or to be saved - the cost's paid.
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment ,worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

schola gratcie, schola scriptura, schola faith-Martin Luther one grace, one scripture. one faith. This is the meaning of the reformed tradition. Evangelical, Pentecostal, Pietist, United Reformed. Ohh, my mistake. I saw little words in the video. hahahah I'm almost blind, I need glasses. Thank you @1BelovedSon. Deus te abençoe! (Means "God bless you" in portuguese)
@butterfly220786k Sorry, but Christ didn't die for all humanity. Just for the chosen ones (his flock).
Only God knows the heart of a man. We cannot say when a man have really faith in God, if this faith is truly based in the love to God and not to the self.
Faith is a gift. Unbelief is a sin (and, therefore, Christ died for this sin, too; so when God decides to save a man, no sin can preclude this).
'World' doesn't mean 'all the people of the world', but a certain group of people with a common trace (read AW Pink for more); e.g., the world of dead. The Bible says that Christ died for ALL of our sins, but if this mean 'all sins of ALL peoples', why some men go to the hell? Because their unbelief? But unbelief is a sin?
If not, why a man must be punish for it?
If unbelief is a sin, Christ don't died also for this sin? So why a man must be sent to hell by this sin?
@fisiolg "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." 1 TIMOTHY 4:10. The Bible SAYS that Christ is the Saviour of all men, he died for ALL men. However, it also clearly says that it applies "specially" to those that believe. This is not a "Limited Atonement" Christ's work on the Cross is not Limited to "elect" individuals. It is AVAILABLE to all and was FOR ALL.
@fisiolg So a saved man is a man who believes on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. But the Atonement for sin that Christ paid was NOT LIMITED to only those who believe, it was the full magnitude with enough power to atone for every sin ever committed on this earth. The problem isn't the Atonement. The problem is man using his free will for unbelief. Just like Eve showed unbelief in the garden. And the root of that problem, the root of all sin is questions God's words......
@fisiolg ...."Yea hath God said" Questioning God's authority and his words is the problem that every lost person on this earth has. It is also a problem that a lot of SAVED Christians have. Christians who look to a new "bible" translation and pick and choose what they like here or there and what to throw out, ditto for 95% of the scholars. The problem is Final Authority and a man not wanting God to have it.
If unbelief is a sin, Christ don't died also for this sin? So why a man must be sent to hell by this sin?
Unless, of course, He don't had died for the sins of the men that are sent to hell.
PS: you need also read the verses where the Bible talks about the harden of heart from God (Is 63.17; Ex 4.21; 7.3-4,13; 8.19; 9.12; 10.1-2,20,27; 11.9-10; 14.4,8,17...)
@fisiolg God wants all men and women to be saved. And yes, He died for humanity and it is up to a man or a woman to accept Him as savior and receive eternal life. Period.
@WatchY0utub3 "God wants all men and women to be saved. "
That is simply what YOU say, but the Bible say that God predestined / choosed a people for himself (Isaiah 63.17-19; Jr 1.5, Titus 2:14, 1 Peter 1:1; Dn 12.1; Joel 2:32, Rev. 17.8,14; 21:27; Mt 24.22,24,31)
@fisiolg Limited Atonement and Calvinism is for nutty idiots....Christ died for ALL MEN.....however Salvation is only APPLIED to those who use their FREE WILL to believe on him
@warriorspikes51 Free will FROM God? Where the Bible teaches that? Faith is not a gift of God?
If Christ died also for the sins of the men that are sent to the hell, this mean that the same sins are punished twice (first in Christ; second in the the man that had sinned), BUT THIS IS A GROSS BLASPHEMY.
@fisiolg Try reading Genesis for free will or any other of the 65 books. Yes grace is a GIFT. Christ died for ALL men. Hebrews 2:9, Titus 2:11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, 1 John 2:2. Scripture teaches that the Atonement was for all men. Each person who was ever born had the ability to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ or they could reject him. This is why the Atonement is APPLIED to those who believe. "who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." 1 Timothy 4:10
@warriorspikes51 In fact, the apostles always began his letters addressing the Christians in question, and not speaking to anyone and everyone. Consider, therefore, the verses within the context of the letters. Unfortunately space here is too small to talk about each of these verses. I recommend that you read John Owen, 'The Death of Death in the Death of Christ '. Read also apuritansmind. com / tulip / LimitedAtonement.htm
@fisiolg I recommend that you use a King James Bible as your final authority and the Holy Spirit for all interpretation. I also recommend that you do not seek to follow after the partial truths (truth mixed with lies) taught by Calvin and those who follow his approach to the Bible instead of following what the Bible SAYS and what the HOLY SPIRIT TEACHES. Amen.
@warriorspikes51 Sorry, you are not dealing with my arguments. When you defend the freewill from God (I suppose that this is your meaning of freewill, because freewill from the other creatures is irrelevant here) you make the Scriptures fall in self-contradiction. I'm not following any men, but just the Bible, the plain logic and the general rules of hermeneutic, like simple contextualization (you must also make this, because we need love God with *understanding*).
"Yet you, LORD, are OurFather. We are the clay, you are the potter; WE ARE ALL THE WORK OF YOUR HAND" (Is 64.8), but "I Will Have mercy on Whom I Will Have mercy, and I will Have compassion on Whom I Will Have compassion "(Exodus 33.19), therefore " Not everyone has faith "(2 Thessalonians 3:2; compare with Mt 11:25-26) and God reproves Actively people (1 Peter 2:8).
@fisiolg Of course grace is a gift. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:9. Notice the "through faith" obviously someone has to have faith. That is a free will situation. The Holy Spirit uses the gospel to loose the chains on a man's heart so he then has the ability to receive or reject Salvation.
@fisiolg the only Blasphemy is limiting the weight Christ took on for the world so that ANYONE could be saved. No man who goes to hell is sent their by God, they choose to go to hell by. rejecting Jesus Christ. Calvin's theological system FAILS to define the Biblical method and it also FAILS to define God's sovereignty....God alone defines his own sovereignty, not some man.
People don't reject jesus any more than they "reject" fairies. There is no evidence whatsoever for any of the supernatural claims of xianity , so "rejection" is the wrong word. I am so happy that I have broken free from the shackles of religion.
I am amazed at how many, many lives have been touched through my friend and Christian songwriter Jeff Nelson. May God keep him pure and ready to pour out Christ all his days.
My dear friend He is full of mercy and late to anger that's why Jesus is not here yet but just a little while and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
A man will gain power & efficiency as he accepts the responsibilities that God places upon him,and with this whole soul seeks to qualify himself to bear them aright. However humble his position or limited his ability, that man will attain true greatness who, trusting to divine strength, seeks to perform his work with fidelity.Jesus is counting on you my friend
Faith alone. Good works are something which naturally follows. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from youselves, it is the gift of God--NOT BY WORKS, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus TO DO GOOD WORKS, which God prepared in advance for us to do " (Eph. 2:8,9). Faith without works is dead. If Christ saved me it only makes sense that I would do a 'good work' and tell someone else about Christ.
18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of Gods law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. 19 So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. You still all argue against Yahshua Matthew5:17 Dont misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.
19-. But anyone who obeys Gods laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

When we ask the Lord into our lives we are inviting him in; by God's grace and mercy he comes in us in Spirit and begins the cleansing..clean out all that is not of God, restoring us to our natural spirit state..and in that we learn his words, and our spirit is healed. Allow God into your life today....For the day of Salvation is here.
God does everything in his timing...this was part of our sermon this week..We are Saved By God's Grace Alone..not of our works, but through God's love. Accept it, it's a gift for you!
