I originally passed on this when it was first released, as their was so many EP1 things released, i had to be kind of selective in what i bought (if i still wanted to eat) Both Anakins + Sebulbas pods look awesome, and i'm hoping they get re-released when EP1 comes out again next year. I wont pass on them next time. But you do kind of need both imo. They look like they need to be together. Thanks for showing them JEDIM4STR, its really appreciated -- Jamie in Australia :)

I have both this and Anakin's.. Thing is, this one is out of proportion; the engines alone, of the "real one", were almost the size of Anakin's pod racer entirely.. Anakin's is more accurate, therefore, i like it most..

isn't sebulba's podracer supposed to be a lot bigger compared to the pod? cuz i have anakin's engines with sebulba's pod (thrift store ;) and it looks like the engines on this one aren't that big. maybe just a cost thing. anyone got any theories?

Not for the action figures no. But Hasbro did make smaller ones for several of the other racers in the movie. These were motorized where a kid ( or grown up) had to crank a gearbox in the back until enough tension was produced then release a trigger and the pod would detach and go speeding across the room.

I got one of the micromachines miniature packs which contained Mars Guo as well as his podracer. I think I may have misplaced the other miniatures in that set, but I still have Mars Gou and his podracer - which are awesome. ^_^

we dont really have that in Australia, a few kids do it but its not really mainstream. If ever I did I would dress as a stormtrooper. I want to get a full suit one day :) I have the blaster but thats the cheapest part hehe

I will set up a proper episode 3 pod race scene sometime in the future, need to get a few more figures for it, such as the 2 headed commentators and a few more pit droids and other pod pilots etc
