JD has always been on of my all time favorites. This song means a lot to me as well. When I was 4 years old I sat on a piano bench beside my father and we sang this song together.

Hey, that's one of the greatest piano players of all time. Known more in the studio than on stage. His name is Jerry Kelso. He has been with the Dove Brothers for several years now.

Who is the older guy standing next to Jd, is he an original member of the Stamps?

That is Ed Hill. He sang with the Stamps probably, in the mid 70's, he also travelled with the Singing Americans in the mid 80's, The Statesmen in the late 70's & Early 80's prior to joining the Singing Americans. Now he is reforming the Prophets Quartet along with Mike Allen, (Former Stamps tenor) Bill Baize, & Paul Jackson. Incidentally, the first PQ was formed in the late 50's/60's. Hope this helps.
