Everybody deals with illness in their own way. And if there are you with diabetes or close to someone who has it and you handle it fine, that's great. But this was obviously was the hardest thing he ever had to go through as a kid, and if it makes him sad and emotional then he has a right to feel that way. I think A Little Bit Longer was a way for him to release his emotions. He helps inspire other kids and bring awareness to a serious issue. It's very positive and helpfull for many.

omg... he makes it sound like the worst thing in the world. Other friends of mine have diabetes... They're perfectly fine with it, it's NOT that big deal seriously. I mean, it can tough at the beginning, when I didn't know what I had I felt awful for months and I lost 10 kilos (I was underweight already). I mean, hard times but to be honest I don't cry every time I think about them. I would understand if he had cancer, but cmon, we are in the xxi century, people deal with diabetes everyday.

yeah its sad he has diabetes, and im glad he has it under control.

but honestly, he milks the diabetes thing sooo much. . . seriously, kinda bugs me sometimes.

life goes on, my cousin has diabetes , yeah it was tough at first but you learn to deal, he doesnt need to cry every single time he sings a little bit longer.. thats a bit much.

but its good that he is raising a little more awareness for diabetes. but its hard to take him serious when hes always crying about it..

im a type one diabetic just like him,its really hard to go through,but the last thing diabetics want is for people to think that we are disabled and feel sorry for us,but it does make you sad to hear him talk about it...he is so amazing:)
