Yep...a Radio Shack 12-250 model. It's my favorite one they ever made. It went off for a High Wind Warning at 2:55 AM EST Sunday...so I was waken up and got my camera ready for it.
Yep, they were just fine. I was a bit worried about the gate...as the 60 mph winds hit it...but it was fine. Swaying alot...but fine. I was just wating for the power to go out...because of all the flashes in the distance...but it didn't. Good ol' Wyandotte Municipal Services had the situation under control I guess compared to Detroit Edison.
that was some wicked wind for sure
we lost power south of eureka within a few minutes after the wind started (about 5 am)
wasnt back on till 7:30 am
